good food, better atmosphere 4/13/2006

ri ra has really good food, and i like to order the sausages when i go there. they are more expensive than a regular bar/ pub but the are a little more fancy. they have a nice atmosphere with a cool irish band playing and the aforementioned quiz night. i dont go to ri ra that much because it is more expensive than the usual bar food, an average entree costs 13$, but when i go i like it there. i would rather go to rock botttom brewery though becuase they have a bigger and better menu. overall ri ra is a nice place to go to if you arent cash strapped and want something a little nicer than a regular bar. more

Ri Ra has a few locations in the DC area - one of them being located on a back street in Bethesda. They offer some decent happy hour drafts and their dinners are good as well. They seem to specialize in things with Irish influences, such as corned beef and Guinness drafts. The Guinness here is some of the best to be found in the city. The atmosphere reflects a pub-like feel. If you are in the area, definitely worth checking out. more

Average food, great quiz night 8/26/2005

RiRa serves standard pub grub. Not bad- the hamburgers are good, and the fries with curry sauce are pretty tasty. I wouldn't recommend going just for the food though- the real draw of RiRa is the great quiz night every Tuesday night. I have no idea what the prizes are because we never come close to winning, but it's fun anyway. There are usually posters up for other special events, with prizes like a trip to Ireland. I haven't been to any of these, but the staff at RiRa is great so I'm sure it's also good fun. more
