My daughter has shown in the Texas Schooling Show Assoc. and at Cen-Tex. Whenever Rio Vista is hosting the shows, we make sure to travel to Austin to attend. The facilities are beautiful--three outdoor jumping arenas, lovely landscape, large oak trees, paved pathways for people, good footing in the arenas. The stalls and wash racks are always clean, and the people are wonderful! It's been my experience that not all ""horse barn"" people are polite or even honest, but the owners here are both--based on my experience and what I've heard from others. I overpaid for a show once without realizing it, and someone at Rio Vista caught my mistake after the show was over and I had left town. I received a refund in the mail!
Pros: facilities, expertise, horse-training, lessons, shows, arenas, appearance, cleanliness, efficiency, people,
Cons: paddocks but no stalls available for out of town show horses.
