Rio is one of my favorite restaurants in Fairfield County. It has a tacky flair, unique dishes and a distinctive light spin on standard ""Mexican"" fare. The bilingual staff will treat you like family and make you feel at home whether or not you are latino or a gringo like me. Stop back frequently to enjoy the updates to their extensive pinata collection and the pictures of the new stars that haven't eaten there yet. (Can you name them all?) The atmosphere is family-friendly and ranges from quiet to raucous depending on the time. If it's a weekend night, you may be lucky enough to hear live entertainment butchering latin pop tunes while you sip on your margarita. Always fun, eating at Rio feels like being part of an inside joke. It's certainly worth a try.
Pros: Fun Decor, Comfortable, Inexpensive
