Good quality and fresh seafood 8/8/2011

The food here seemed to be of very high quality and was very flavorful. We ordered both cooked entrees as well as sushi and were impressed with the freshness of the fish that was used. The beef in the beef teriyaki was tender and wasn't overly sweet or salty, and the sushi was clean and well prepared. more

Amazing sushi!! 11/17/2007

Hiro's - a neighborhood restaurant on College Ave. near Broadway - has become our favorite sushi place. Flawlessly delicious fish, every single piece. Standard nigiri / rolls with some we haven't seen elsewhere, like butterfish caramelized briefly with a blowtorch. The chef is a co-owner, and he adds a personal touch to a lot of dishes that might seem standard. more
