I had just moved to NYC 2.5 years ago from CA.? I brought my 2 yr old adopted Cocker Spaniel with me.? He had no proper training, he had seperation anxiety, was not potty trained, was very fearful of all the noises in a big city, took the lead when walking on a leash, ...no training.? You get the point. I called a dog service company and they sent me Rikke to my apt in the Financial District. She was on time, extremely dog friendly.? And most IMPORTANTLY, people friendly.? LOL.? She was extremely knowledgeable about dog breeds and opened my eyes to genetically why my dog does what he does, but how to train him out of those habits instilled in him.? We went over my dogs issues.? She did training exercises with my dog and he responded in ways I thought my dog was never capable of.? She never yelled at my dog or never did anything to scare him Everything was very positive and it made my dog want to respond! Then she showed me how to work the magic.? By following Rikke's technique I saw improvement everyday with my dog.? We continued with private sessions every week until we touched upon all the issues my dog had.? I am a nurse and the money was well spent and worth every penny. I now have a dog I love and can live with. I recommend RIkke to all my friends with new puppies, adopted dogs, or dogs with issues that have never been addressed.
Pros: Positive dog training, professional, dog/people friendly
Cons: Nothing I can think of
