For the past 22 months, I have received computerized collection calls at my home number, (which I was assigned some 22 months ago) for a Charles Giesler. I have no idea who this person is and have called the collection agency explaining this and requesting that they stop calling me. The calls stop, and then resume daily. I don't know why these bill collectors cannot understand that I am not Charles Giesler and that no one by that name resides at my address. more

I got a call from these people and unlike most complaints they were at least nice on the phone. I talked to them on the phone they gave me the info on the debt which was very old (almost 10 years to be exact) but I thought hey I made the debt might as well pay for it. So I gave them my info and told them I would pay the moeny they were asking for. I figured that was it and I would be done with it. Fast forward two months I paid what I had to and forgot about it until my next pay check when bam....another charge comes out I figured this was a mistake on thier part so I tried to contact them to no avail. I had been trying to contact them for two weeks when I get paid again and bam yet another charge. So I contacted my bank and got those taken care of and I am still attempting to contact them as of today.\r \r I have filed a complaint with the BBB in Utah contacted the AG and gotten groans from both about these folks. It is almost like each organization has a person that deals with nothing but these people because they have currently 160+ BB complaints and the AG told me well over that in Utah. So if these folks contact you get the info from them on who you owe and contact that business and work it out with them. Give them no info at all or you will regret it in the long run. more

Trying to collect a debt from a multi billion dollar corp. that did not provide the service the promised. I payed my bill in full to Direct T.V. for services that were less then adequate, and then fired them. They want their early disconnection fee which I refuse to pay. If they provided the service I wouldn't have quit. This loser of a law firm has been harrassing me for $300 which I don't feel I owe and have called them and made arrangements to send in my arguements in the next 30 days, but the harrassment calls still come early sunday mornings, late at night and when you try and call them back, they are closed and will tell you their office hours....so why do they call me when they are closed?? Also if you do call during their ""office hours"" you're on hold for 30 minutes for the priviledge of talking some rude individual. Count me in as electing them as the attorney want to be's who can't get a real job. The only good attorney is a dead one, and I think this firm proves that little joke!! I explained that the bill that they were trying to collect was not mine and that even if it was it's past the statute of limitations. It's some bill from 2003! You would think being attorneys they would know the laws. Cons: Calling every day. more

Paid account off yet they continued to debit my account. I tried to call but was always put to someones voice mail and they would not return my call. I went t o my bank and did a stop payment on the ACH transfer. more

So they called me at work, and threatened me . I gave the ok for a 1 time payment over the phone. BAM! The next month they took another payment out. The great thing is, I contacted the origional place I had the debt with and paid that off. They took the money out of my account after the debt was paid in full. more

Obviously debt collectors...in my case, called my number out of phone book. As I'm listed only by initials, they called someone with the same first and last initial as I. Upon calling the number to ask that their random calls cease, I was responded to with rudeness and unprofessionalism. \r \r They called my number, demanded a return call, but refused to give me a reference name other than ""Smith"", when asked. \r \r I would think a professional (and real) law firm would be unafraid to give their name to someone! They are, after all, calling me out of the blue and asking me for mine!!\r \r They are idiots. Stay away from them. Pros: They don't exist in my state. Cons: They exist at all. more

hard to contact and when you do they are RUDE. if you ask to speak with management they send you to voice mail. more
