We just moved to the area and wanted to celebrate my birthday at a local restaurant. This place seemed to be pretty busy, which is usually a good sign. The service was good and the restaurant seemed to be very clean. However, the food did not seem to be freshly prepared. The enchilada plate looked like someone had emptied a frozen dinner on it and stuffed it in the oven for a few minutes. The fajitas did not have the familiar char on them from being grilled, in fact they appeared to have been microwaved. The competition for Mexican and Tex-Mex food is too high - no restaurant should slack on the quality or freshness of the food they are serving, it's the kiss of death in my book. No wonder the bar was busy, but the tables were empty when we were there.
