This place is amazing. It's small and neaty kept. The owners are friendly and super humble. Everything is made to order and scrumptiously fresh. The chicken satay skewers seasoned with lemongrass and curry were to die for. It was like dimensions of flavor opened up as you ate them. The pad thai was also complex and full of dimension. The chicken with vegetables had a nice tangy/salty balance. Reasonable prices and a cozy ambiance. I'll definitely be returning to this jewel! more

Oh wow. For what it's worth, I've never bothered to review a restaurant. I just had one of the best dining experiences of my life and felt compelled to share. My brother talked up this place so much I can't believe it was even better than expected. The owner took time to bring us some sriracha from Thailand and if you like spice they are more than happy to offer some spicier, authentic flavor. more

My new favorite Thai restaurant in Miami - I thought their food was better than Thai Spice and the prices were very reasonable. I could not recommend this restaurant any more. Please be warned - the restaurant owner grows his own vegetables and his peppers are hotter than what you can buy at the grocery store...haha. I love supporting family restaurants where the entire family is pitching in to get the job done and the owner greets his regular customers like they are his personal friends. Great food, fair prices, friendly atmosphere - are you on your way yet? more

Authentic Thai restaurant owned by a friendly couple. Fresh ingredients create lots of flavor and great prices make your wallet happy! They even have a tiny garden in back! more

Awesome restaurant, great service, clean, food is authentic an made with fresh ingredients, better food and lower prices than most Thai restaurants I've been to, if you want Thai food and live near Dade County, come here! more

Finally a great neighborhood Thai spot. Prices are very reasonable. Will have a liquor license 2/2011, but now you can BYOB which makes it really cheap. Authentic food well prepared with fresh ingredients. Decor is sparse, but you won't notice once you try the food. Plenty of parking out back with easy access to the back door. more

Delicious, Fresh and Affordable 1/12/2011

Ricky Thai Bistro has great food and absolutely amazing prices. We have enjoyed the soup, curry, iced tea, satay, and a noodle dish thus far and will be back for more. The food is fresh and the spices perfect. Portion size is good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is super casual--more aimed a the college crowd so good for sit in lunch or take out dinner. The staff were wonderful and excited to be in North Miami. We plan to enjoy having Thai food as part of our regular menu now that they are open. more
