Dining at 100 Congress was an expected and memorable experience. The ambience was casual yet intimate with a menu selection that exceeded our parties' expectations. We entertained several guests from Chicago and New York with each commenting on how pleasant a dining experience it was. Our collective congratulations to Chef Peter Dockendorf, who came to our table to make sure that all was to our liking. Bravo! Pros: Intimate, Friendly, Palate Friendly more

Food for thought 7/6/2002

Assuming the best restaurants were in the Old Port I am very happily mistaken. Ricks on Congress Street while only a stones throw from downtown blew the rest of the competition away. The cozy atmosphere was a nice departure from the larger more hyped tourest-drawn retaurants on Fore and Exchange Street, and the food was above that which I have experienced in a long time especially in the Old Port area. Ricks comes highly recomended if you are looking for a great meal, great atmosphere and no attitude. more
