I never write reviews, but this time is a must! I came to Ricki Criswell with the most horrible skin you've ever seen. Too much sun, not enough water and just not caring for it ...

A Comfortable Place for Mind, Body and Soul 10/1/2008

I have followed Ricki for more than 15 years. Wherever she goes, I go. I have sensitive and unpredictable skin and do not trust anyone else to work on me. Just one of Ricki's glycolic treatments makes a huge difference in my appearance. Ricki's waxing is amazing. She does great eyebrows. She never double dips in the wax! She constantly finds new products that work just a little better than the product she is currently using. I make it a practice not to make recommendations to friends or coworkers because everyone has their own idea of what is right for them. But I have no qualms about referring anyone to Ricki. They all love her. more

Relaxing with Results! 9/26/2008

I went to Ricki's Skin Care for a microdermabrasion series of eight and I am 100% satisfied with her service, professionalism, atmsophere and results. I have been to many different skin care services and Ricki's is the best. She responds to e-mails immediately and is flexible with time changes. The lavender citrus fragrance on my skin relaxes me hours after I've left there. I see a dramatic improvement on the surface of my skin from the microdermabrasion, as well as the oxygen treatement that Ricki recommended. She has steered me right, and I'm happy and relieved to have found someone that I can count on! more

Perfection 9/20/2008

I have been going to Ricki for 3 years or so. She continues to display sincere care and strives for perfection in every treatment I recieve. I can not say enough good about her salon. Very clean and tranquil. She strives to be on time. Having to wait is rare. Ricki gives a good old fashion facial. My skin feels so clean after her treatments. This type of facial is hard to find, as I tried many before I finally found Ricki. Great brazilian wax and eyebrow sculpting. My money is well spent! Thank you! Ricki is living proof of her knowledge of skin care. She looks great! Do yourself a favor. You will have no regrets. Pros: Great atmosphere and professional treatment. more

Peaceful Serenity 9/18/2008

From the moment I walked in to Ricki's Skin care I felt an overwhelming sense of calm. Ricki was so friendly and welcoming. I've had many facial treatments in my lifetime and I can honestly say that the facials here are the best I have ever had. Ricki has a soothing way about her and kept me relaxed making me feel so pampered. Ricki is a master at what she does and I'm so lucky to have found a place to go to keep my skin looking beautiful. I know that my time there will rejuvenate me and keep me looking youthful. Last time I was there she waxed my brows when I quickly stopped in to buy a product and she masterfully transformed my brows to a work of art. I will only go there from now one to have my brows done. My friends know how picky and choosy I am and I have recommended this salon to all of them. I've only gotten positive feedback from those who have gone. She's the best!!! 9/17/2008

I first met Ricki in 1993 and have been a client of hers ever since. In those earlier years, I had spent quite a few hours in the sun and my skin was not in very good condition. Ricki took charge with a series of treatments, and before long my skin was looking healthful and many years younger. What 's most impressive about Ricki is her evolution over the years in always being in the forefront of the latest procedures as well as products. Given how particular she is, you can depend on her to always use what is proven and state of the art. Other important factors to me have been her reliability, the relaxing atmosphere of her shop, and last - but not least - my ability to rely on her for great recommendations for other beauty services she herself doesn't provide. Examples include permanent make up artists, plastic surgeons, etc. I could go on at length, but suffice it to say I would strongly recommend Ricki to anymore who wants to look more youthful and be confident that their skin will be in the best condition possible. more

best brazilian wax ever!! 9/12/2008

I moved to LA two years ago and went through five other waxers until I found Ricki (thank god!!) She's lightening fast and gets the job done. She's fun to talk to which makes getting waxed easier to tolerate. It's really not that painful because she does it so fast.....The best part is that I'm in and out in 12 minutes. I highly recommend Ricki for waxing. She's the BOMB!! Pros: clean and fast! Cons: none more

No more brown spots!! 9/10/2008

I have been to many esthiticans over the years and I have never found one who has actually gotten rid of my pigmentation problem on my cheeks until I met Ricki. She did a series of microdermabrasion treatments and now they are completely gone! I had this problem for years and tried all kinds of gels and peels but nothing got rid of it . I am SOO grateful to Ricki and her knowledge of skin care. She also uses Epicuren products which I LOVE! Thank you Ricki!! Pros: parking, relaxing environment, clean Cons: nothing more

Best Facial! 9/8/2008

I started seeing Ricki a few years ago because my skin tone was so uneven and blotchy. I was so impressed! After our first series of 5 sessions my skin became so much smoother and more even looking. She gives the best mircoderm abrasion facial ever. I always feel so fresh, clean and beautiful. After an appointment with her, my skin looks 10 years younger!!! I am now addicted to Ricki's Skin Care. Pros: The atmosphere is so relaxing and serene. The location is convenient. Cons: None more

For the best facials, waxing & pampering 9/4/2008

Ricki is amazing. I used to have very problematic skin and frequent breakouts. I started getting facials (microdermabrasion & oxygen) on a regular basis and my skin is 100% better. The products she uses are excellent and she is very knowledgeable about all the products and what works best for my skin. Because I was prone to severe breakouts, I was skeptical at first about using moisturizers and other products but I put my trust in Ricki and followed her advice. My skin cleared up and became much smoother. I get so many compliments on my complexion now and rarely wear makeup. I always leave Ricki's feeling so much better than when I came in. While I might go to a spa for a massage, Ricki is the only one that I trust with my skin (and my eyebrows!) I would highly recommend Ricki for all your skin care and waxing needs. more

Extremely Trustworthy! 8/15/2008

I love Ricki's Skin Care because Ricki is extremely trustworthy and is wonderful at her job. I had a hard time trusting someone to shape my eyebrows, due to a horrible experience I had at another salon, until Ricki offered to help me. She was so great and always made me feel comfortable. I've been getting my eyebrows done with her for the past 3 years and I will NEVER go anywhere else. She also gives the best facials and microdermabrasions. I highly recommend Ricki, she is truly a talented aesthetician! Pros: Parking, relaxing environment, VERY clean! Cons: None! more

Ricki gives the best facial I've ever had. And she provides a complete range of services that are just as good as her facials- waxing, brows, eyelash dying - so you can get all the services you want right there at the same time, which is incredibly convenient and you feel so good when you leave. Her service is very professional, but also personal - she remembers what you like and don't like and she focuses on you. (I hate it when I go somewhere and they can't wait to get out of the room and leave you there forever - Ricki lets you relax, but gives you an amazing massage!) My skin never looks and feels better than when I leave Ricki's salon! more
