In July, 2005, my spouse and I drove in from Oregon for a family gathering at the Marin Inn. Subsequently, our dinner party took place on the patio next to the pool. It was not particularly ADA accessible. The seating was poolside furniture and not really up to my massive frame so I was concerned that it might collapse and put me into the pool. The service was entertaining but my water glass stood empty most of the time we were there. Facilities again were difficult to find and use with a 38 pound wide body walker. Pros: Food looks artistic. Cons: Menu, portions, seating, ADA issues, ongoing service after entrees served. more

New Chef- Good Food-Attentive Service 10/20/2005

I live in the neighborhood, and this place has gotten some bad reviews. Easy Check list- Have Jen(cute blonde) wait on you. The service is great. She makes dining into a memory. The new chef is fantastic. Had the steak with mashed potatoes and braised baby carrots... YUM! This place has had its share of chefs- but this one is a keeper. Nothing Apecial Here 3/17/2005

Dined here about 2 nights ago and from the looks of the place I thought it was gonna be great. Very romantic restaurant with fine wood furnishings, but then the food came. I had the Grilled Salmon, which was dry and flaky with hardly no flavor at all and my companion had the Kobe Beef Stew. Kobe Beef? You can hardly tell what it was. It looked like chunks of Hamburger meat floating around in gravy. Come here for drinks, but not the food. Pros: Atmosphere, Location Cons: High Price, Food more

LOVE THE NEW CHEF & MENU!!! 2/1/2005

FINALLLLY, this marvelous gem is a destination place again what with the new chef and fantastic new menu!!! This dining room is very much like something you'd find in Tahoe....verrry cozy, warm and inviting and now the food matches!!! Cannot wait to dine here again.....which will be real soon!!! Great Local Place! 1/27/2005

Wow! What a change in menu and service. The new chef has done wonders with the food. It's a completely different menu. The food choices are plentiful and the food is delicious. The service was friendly, yet professional. You cannot beat the warm and cozy atmosphere. A place where you can actually hear your dining companions from across the table.
