I had a very good experience with replacing an old crown on a molar. This was the 3rd crown done by Dr. Harrison. The new crown is beautiful and fits perfectly. The procedure went very smoothyly. Maria made me feel very comfortable by informing me what they were doing throughout the procedure, this helped decrease my anxiety. I really appreciated that. more

No one likes the Dentist but coming here is no only a delight but the nicest staff and dentist you will ever meet. Every step is not only professional but friendly. I have had regular checkups as well as emergency situations and have been greeted with the same excellent care as well kind Gentle treatment. Today was my first visit with Dr. Harrison's office for my annual check-up. I was able to get in the back fairly quickly. The hygienist took x-rays and then the dentist came in and I met him. After, Dr. Harrison left, the hygienist did my cleaning and I decided to go on ahead and schedule for my 6 month check-up visit. The hygienist was very nice and took the time to chat with me not only about my dental health but also about things going on in my life. I'm scheduled next week to have an in depth exam with the Dr and am actually looking forward to getting to know him and discuss getting whitening done. Overall, office staff is very pleasant and helpful and Dr. Harrison is professional and listened when I asked him a question. more

I'm not sure who these other people are leaving these ""great"" reviews about this dentist but I find it laughable. I'm pretty sure these people work there and he probably gives them bonuses for doing extra homework or family members giving him some good reviews because I can guarantee you ""love going to Dr. H"" is NOT the case. What a horrible experience. I don't even know where to start. #1 I Feel like he misdiagnoses you for more $$$ money. Cha-ching. I feel like he did unnecessary work just to stick me with the bill. I wish I had seen it sooner but I didn't. #2 I feel like he did NONE of the work and all of his assistants did everything. I hardly saw him, I got fillings done and a crown and he would pop in for a second just to leave again while he told them what to do (WTF?). Which leads to #3 -- my PERMANENT CROWN (that I paid nearly $1900 for when it was all said and done!) fell off (THAT HE DIDNT EVEN DO! his assistants did!!) This irritates me the most!!! I had to go get this fixed by a DIFFERENT dentist who is AWESOME and amazing and didn't even charge me to fix it. and that leads me to #4 -- ""Dr"" Harrison charged ME to fix a different crown that HE DID because it was over a 6 month period! So I guess that means if it's under a year and only 6 months out this dentist won't guarantee his work!! While I found another dentist who fixed it for FREE somewhere else. AWESOME way to win your patients over!! And while I'm at it #5 - I was here from 9AM to1PM in the same stupid chair while they did 3 fillings and looked at my crown. I could hear them laughing and joking around in the other room. SERIOUSLY?! What a JOKE. Save yourself and your teeth and go somewhere else!! NOT Worth the time or money. more

Love going here been going to Dr. Harrison for some time now staff is great makes me want to keep coming back, all I do is provide some teeth that need help and Dr. H and his staff takes care of the rest. highly recommend. more

I used a groupon with Dr. Harrison which included a dental cleaning, full set of x-rays and fluoride treatment. At the dental visit, Dr. Harrison told me that I had three cavities and that I needed a crown to replace a loose filling. I asked Dr. Harrison if there was anything wrong with the tooth that had the loose filling (underlying decay or persistent cavity?). He said no but explained to me that the filling was too hard to replace and that I needed a crown to fix the tooth. Upon my return visit to get the fillings, I asked the staff if I could have nitrous oxide because I felt anxious about getting all three cavities filled in one visit. The dental hygienist told me to not act like a baby. Tearfully, I got up and walked out. Our bill: $35 cancellation fee and $50 for nitrous oxide. I called back and refused to pay for the nitrous oxide because I never received nitrous oxide. The dental hygienist told me that I was too cheap for using a groupon, and they needed to get their money somehow. I requested to speak to Dr. Harrison, but I was immediately informed that Dr. Harrison would not call me back because he does not handle those types of issues! I was utterly and completely shocked by the entire experience!! Afterwards, my husband and I got dental insurance, and I drove to Atlanta to go to my long-time family dentist, Dr. Bristol. I got a full mouth exam with x-rays and Dr. Bristol told me that I had NO cavities!! Dr. Bristol could not believe that Dr. Harrison told me I needed a crown, and he fixed the loose filling in less than 20 min! The trust-worthiness of Dr. Harrison is questionable and his staff are extremely rude and completely lacking in empathy!! I would highly suggest to get another opinion before getting any work done by Dr. Harrison! more

Dr. Harrison offers an experience other dentists cannot touch. From scheduling appointments with his office manager to the speciality work of root canals, Dr. Rick Harrison's practice is one I reccommend to all. Dr. Harrison is by far the best dentist I have had the pleasure of receiving care from in the Jacksonville area. more

happy i chose dr harrison to do my invisalign!! got my teeth finally fixed with invisalign and minimal appoints. all fees required were told upfront so no surprises. more
