Fun family outing 9/2/2005

This minor league baseball team is a great family outing. The area businesses often offer coupons and discounts and the prices aren't bad anyway. The kids love seeing the mascot running around and you can even have a birthday party there. The food is pricey and there are lots of signs saying not to bring outside food with you. (but plenty of people had food with them) We enjoyed the game and it wasn't too crowded. more

Take Me Out to the Ball Game 8/26/2005

Families can enjoy a baseball game here and have alot of fun. Watch where the sun is when you select your seats. You can watch the Atlanta Braves players of tomorrow play in Richmond. Diamond Duck, the team's mascot, comes out to greet the crowd. You get to sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the seventh inning stretch. Check their website for promotions for free or discounted admission to certain games. The food is very overpriced. more

BASEBALL! 8/4/2005

We love baseball in our family and going to an R braves game is the perfect way to enjoy it -- it's very reasonable and they have special events throughout the year that make it even cheaper -- This means if my kids get antsy I can leave early without feeling like I wasted money! Our team doesn't always win but they have some very genuine fans and a great attitude -- There's an annual fireworks display on the 4th and 5th of July which usually sell out super early -- people can go watch the game and then stay for fireworks and really have a whole night of Red White and Blue fun! more
