The Richland County Fairgrounds plays host to a wide variety of events over the course of a year. The annual fair is always must see. They also have many antique and flee markets, as well as competitions, and home and gardens shows. One of our favorite times to go is in the winter. The fairgrounds displays what they call Winter Wunderland. The entire grounds are lit up with thousands of lights that you can drive through. It is amazing! A Variety of Events over the Course of the Year 2/20/2006

Richland County Fairgrounds offers a large variety of events for the family. Annually there is the County Fair, held in the late summer, early fall. Farm animals, competitions, cakes and businesses display their wares for the public. A nice week's worth of fun and entertainment. There are the monthly Flea Markets, Toy Fairs and Gun Shows. There is the "Home Show" each spring showing the latest in home decor and renovations and offering a variety of vendors and ideas for the homeowner. There are bingo games weekly, community events, and finally, at Christmas, there is the huge outdoor light display for the whole family to enjoy. There is lots here to see and do.
