Richard H Karr Dmd

My family has been seeing Dr. Karr for nearly 25 years and we have never had a bad experience with him. He and his staff are always happy to see us, are knowledgeable, answer any questions we have and always provide superior care. His staff always handles all paperwork (in terms of insurance), they're easy to communicate with and helpful in terms of making sure I know what I need to be doing to keep my teeth healthy. Whenever I have needed slightly more extensive dental work (outside of cleanings) Dr. Karr has always made sure to explain my treatment options and ensured I was completely aware of my dental needs before performing any procedure. I've never had an issue with and of his treatment and will continue seeing him as my dentist. more

Dr. Karr placed fillings in 2 front teeth, after novacaine wore off I felt the suface of the teeth and they felt like sandpaper, (not being a Dentist) I didn't really think much about it. A couple of month later I took a bite of pizza and one of the teeth broke off. I told my cousin (dental assist) about my problem and she told me that the 2 teeth that were filled should have felt smooth, the dental work was not done correctly. Also, answers the question; why didn't he bill me for this service? obviously he knows he did a crappy job and by not billing me for the work there was no record on file for him being responsible for the services.
