About a year ago we hired Rice Photography for our wedding pictures. My fiance and I went to several bridal shows and visited about six photographers. We were very impressed with Mr. Rice and his extensive background and experience. He had truly unique pictures and was amazingly knowledgable and helpful with all of our wedding planning. We decided to go with Rice Photography on the promise that we would be provided a Certified Master Photographer. We had looked at other studios in the area who had great albums and photos, but decided to pay the extra money because Patrick told us that we would be provided with the one thing that we really wanted - a Certified Master Photographer. After our wedding and seeing the horrible proofs, I did some research and found out that the guy he sent out to us is a ""weekend warrior"" who has photography as a hobby. He wasn't even rated as a Certified Professional Photographer. Cons: high price, poor quality photographs more

We chose Patrick Rice because he showed a great deal of customer service and care in doing our ceremony. This wonderful customer care conveniently ended as soon as he received the final check for the wedding photographs. In addition to this, he did a very poor job covering the ceremony. We paid for two photographers so that we could have pictures of both the audience and the ceremony, this is poorly depicted in the proofs. Patrick boasted journalistic style- there is none of this in our proofs. Patrick kept disappearing for smoke breaks and phone calls at opportune photo ops. He made few suggestions and really depended on us to make decisions about pictures. I was extremely disappointed. And now he can't give us an end date for when our album will be prepared and sounds extremely moody and short when on the phone. Pros: Lots of proofs to choose from. Cons: Overrated and full of himself. more
