Had a wonderful visit. The fajitas were great (and they're even on special one night) and I loved the chips and salsa as well. Would def. recommend and I will def. be coming back!

Worst

I hate to say negative things about a restaurant but to rank them #1 destroys the validity of this whole process and makes me question the accuracy of anything on this website.

Best Mexican Restaurant in Allen 7/13/2007

Ricardo's is Great! The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is great and the service is very prompt. Kevin and Jenny make you feel right at home. The service we get there is Terriffic!! I have called many times with reservations for big partys, and they have always taken care of us. Our kids think it is their second home! I would highly reccomend Ricardo's to anyone. Thank you Kevin and Jenny for the great food and service. And thanks to your waiter Ryan, he is the best!!! Pros: Best all around Cons: location hard to see more

Kevin offers a warm environment, friendly service, and some very good Mexican food. His Firehouse 4 bean/beef fajita soup (not on the menu so ask for it) is classic. Good margaritas too. Pros: FOOD, service, tone Cons: A little hard to find for first timers - go behind the Firestone more

This place is great. Small enough to be cozy, and friendly enough to be ""home""...You always feel great there. You are treated like family (only better!) The dip is good enough to swim in! It only took one visit at Ricardos to convince me it was my favorite mexican food restaurant. Great service, awesome food and good atmosphere combine to make this restaurant a highlight of Allen, a town in need of such highlights. Drop by if you get a chance, I highly recommend it. more

Ricardos is the place to go for great food, the best margaritas in town, and incredible customer service. My husband, daughter, and I have become Friday night regulars at Ricardos. As soon as ""our"" waiter spots us walk through the door, he has our drinks on the way (that happened after only waiting on us one previous time). The owners are always visibile and eager to please. If you haven't tried this hidden treasure in Allen, you have truly missed out! Pros: food, service, friendliness, margaritas more

Ricardo's prompt service, very reasonable prices, and dependable food make it our family's first choice in Allen. We love their chips, salsa, queso, and hand breaded and chicken stuffed jalapenos before the main course. Tamales are the best I've ever had and other menu favorites include shrimp fajitas, guacamole and charro beans. Ricardo's is NOT A CHAIN and you're treated like family. Best mexican food north of down town Dallas. very easy to ge to, just one mile west of highway 75 in Allen. Very clean and great service. The deco is top notch inside and also has outside tables. Don't miss this one!!! more

Ricardo's is in a small town with big city taste! The service is outstanding, the atmosphere is fun and the food is delicious. We love going there with our friends or just the family. Really, their burgers are amazing! So I can take my kids AND myself to the same place! My favorite dish is camerones! They are shrimp topped with a jalapeno sour cream sauce served on a bed of rice ! YUMMMMMMMYYYYY! Just go and see for yourself. They rock! Pros: Great for all ages and occasions! Great food, great service. more
