While they have got good food and large portions at fair prices, the service is terrible. We've seen some improvements since new manager came on board, but they still have a ways...

While they have got good food and large portions at fair prices, the service is terrible. We've seen some improvements since new manager came on board, but they still have a ways to go. ""Lucky"" us, we have gotten the same waiter every visit - very friendly, cordial guy who waits for the busboy to deliver food and drink refills before coming around to ""see if we need anything"". And that's on a good night. If they're busy we don't see him until it's time to bring us the bill. The busboys we've had have given us pretty good service considering it's not their job. The only reason we've gone back is because of the entertainer in the bar - unfortunately she's only there on Friday nights. The place has great potential, if the manager can make some ""attitude"" adjustments with some of the staff! more

Our New FAV Rib Joint! 11/15/2007

We recently started going to Rib Trader just in the last few months. We're big rib lovers, and we're always looking for new rib joints to try. We heard about Rib Trader from some friends who live in Orange ~ actually right behind the restaurant. It was a little difficult to see from the street since it's behind the Ralphs market, but we still found it. To be honest, our friends gave us a friendly warning that they hadn't been to the Rib Trader in a few years, and they remembered it being good sometimes and not so good sometimes. Rib Trader ranks at top of our list 7/23/2007

Rib Trader restaurant has The best food from their baby back ribs to BBQ chicken, onion rings, corn bread Baja Shrimp. The service is so friendly . The atmosphere is like a Safari jungle theme. The bartender Jim is very personable and attentive. The portions were large so I couldn't fit a dessert in . Pros: food, service, anbience, prices Cons: no reservations more

Terrible Steak and Worse Service!! Ran out of Prime Rib (their speciality) at 7:00 PM on a Saturday!! 5/2/2007

I've driven by this restaurant on the way to Ralphs (next door) for many years and always thought I should check it out. Finally showed up a few weeks ago with my wife with a definite hankering for a juicy prime rib (well advertised as their speciality). Cons: The decor is old and literally covered with dust. Service is SLOW and food stock LIMITED. more
