Now we have a mess!
Rick Heim of Rhino Pro painters painted the exterior of our home including the deck or our wrap-around porch late June of 2011. Many of the crew including Rick consumed a lot of beer daily. Good work was done in the mornings. They'd go to lunch, come back looking &smelling like they'd had plenty to drink w/ lunch. Little got work was done after lunch. That made the job take a LOT longer than was expected. There were many issues during the project including the fact that Rick "FORGOT" that the contract included painting several part of the house such as the lattice skirt of the porch.
For the most part the porch is unused and receives no wear. It's protected from the elements by a roof - winter 2011-12 was very mild.
By early May of this year (5/12) The deck paint was a MESS -Blistered, peeling, horrible. Now it has to be completely sanded, may need to have the paint stripped and be totally repainted. Thousands of dollars.
And it appears they used the wrong paint - wall paint instead of deck paint.
Every speck of dirt appears to have actually embedded into the surface and cannot be washed off.
We've called him monthly = 1st call he did respond saying he'd take care if it.
