Best

the food here is wow.

ROACHES 6/30/2011

The food is usually for good!! My co-workers and I go there all the time. This time was different, we were eating and we saw roaches. We told the gentleman at the register, he act like he wasnt concerned. He just casually said ok, I will tell my boss. That is the last time we will eat there, it just happened yesterday but we are still sick!! more

yummy! 6/1/2009

We loved the place. Its a hole in the wall family burger place. The special burger is served on buttery toast and is delicious. We will be going back again very soon. more

WHERE'S THE BEEF 3/29/2009

Nothing exciting about eating at this whole in the wall. The cook flattens out the hamburger on the grill making it less than 1/4"" thick. Now what good cook would ever flatten out a hamburger patty till its 1/4 "" thick just so it fits the bun.. Pros: Fast Service Cons: Hamburger patty way to small more

Great burgers made to order 6/27/2007

I love this place. It's their way or the highway but guaranteed good every time and made to order. Impossible to drive past Rhea's to go to some chain joint. Pros: Can't pass up a landmark burger joint. more

best burger, hands down 3/26/2007

I love burgers, but places like McDonalds and even nicer restaurants like Fuddruckers and Fridays don't even come close to the goodness of a Rhea's special. Not even the $12 ""big a$$ burger"" (they won't let you write that word) from Two Urban Licks, which was very good, tops the $2.95 Rhea's special. The staff is great, too. Even though some of the servers don't speak English very well, they know enough to take your order. Plus, they are always very friendly and ready to get whatever you need. Where else can you get such a satisfying meal for less than $6? Regardless of price, this is still the best burger EVER. more

Great burgers 9/22/2006

Scary part of town? You mean just North of Historical Area and just South of the $300-600K homes? You scare easily :) more

this place is lame... 9/7/2006

I can't believe I ate here even after I pulled in and some scumbag was working on his car in the parking lot and the staff spoke about 2 words of english...Not only would I not eat here again I wouldn't even drive within 5 miles of this part of town... Pros: cheap...But so is McDonalds...I'd rather go there Cons: Staff can't speak english, scary part of town, very scummy more

Jimmy!!!! 7/30/2005

I Can honestly say I have never tasted a better burger, regardless of the price. The fries, also cooked to perfection make my mouth water in 7th period @ Roswell High School (By the Crossville location) and just can't wait to get down there for a Rhea's Special, no mustard. Just Awesome Pros: Value, Great Food, EVERYTHING ELSE Cons: hmmm?, ummmm?, Nope, nothing more

One of the Best Burgers in Town 6/14/2005

I have eaten at Rhea's since I was 5 one the way to school with my dad. It was a great childhood memory and is still a great place to have a relaxed hometown meal. more

Not the best only better than fast food 9/26/2004

This is not the best in Atlanta. The one thing that bothered me was that the burgers are all grey, there is no asking for a medium burger. They don't over cook it, because it is wet and gray. Not bad but not the best. Save that for Ann's or the Earl or even the Vortex. more

Bad-Rude Service 5/26/2004

My co-workers and I enjoyed Rhea's until we were finished with our meal. After eating, we were talking for a few moments, when the cook told us to leave stating that he needed the parking spaces. At the time, there wasn't a crowd, and no one waiting for tables. The place was half empty. We were not disturbing others, so what was the problem? This rudeness will prohibit from returning and recommending Rheas. Cons: , rude service, rude service more

Perfect Hamburgers 5/18/2004

Rheas is a throwback to the Golden Age of the burger joint. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a 1950s lunch counter. The service is friendly and the food is made to order. The burgers are big and juicy and have that unique local flavor that a big chain could never hope to replicate. There is no doubt in my mind that the best hamburger can be found at Rheas. Pros: Great food, Value, local more

Rhea's should be ranked higher 4/28/2004

i dont think enough people have been to rhea's. there are also 2 other locations, off of alpharetta highway and another off of crossville, by roswell high school. if you havent been to rhea's it is something that you need to experience. it is the best burger i have ever had. EVER. Pros: best burger in, atlanta if not the, world more

Rhea's 6/9/2003

Mediocre at best! If this were the best burger served in town I would give up eating burgers. I don't know what all the hype is about unless people have just gotten so used to fast food that anything other than that is believed to be awesome. I was extremely disappointed and don't plan to waste my money there ever again! more

... 5/15/2003

I read the reviews and decided to try this place for breakfast. Ordinary, greasey and the orange juice tasted like Tang. The breakfast was served on a paper plate. Cons: Hard to find, Needs better food more

Great burger, great price should be #1 2/24/2003

I use to sneak out of High School at lunch to get Jimmy's burgers (Rhea has been gone for 15 years). He makes the best burger around for change on the dollar. I've been going to this place for about 9 years and it still doesn't fail to please everytime. more

Just Okay 2/9/2003

Like the atmosphere for a quick hamburger. Several people recommended the spot and once we went and had the hamburger, we were not very impressed. more

Our Family Favorite 2/8/2003

You would never expect to find such a delicious burger in a hole in the wall location like the original location of Rhea's (there are 3 now). All of the locations have the same great tasting burgers, but a very different feel based on the location. I can't say I have ever tried anything else on the menu because the burgers are the reason we eat there. My wife and son enjoy Rhea's as much as I do. They even get mad when I stop in for lunch and don't bring them a burger home. Pros: Grteat Burgers, Great Fries, Great Service more

Hole in the wall w/great burgers 1/7/2003

At Rhea's the ambience leaves something to be desired, but if you are looking for good food at a very reasonable price- here's the place to go. Try a Rhea's with cheese and fries. Pros: Service, Food, Attitude of employees Cons: Parking, Restrooms more
