Nice Collection! 4/13/2006

When I heard the collection of Art here was advertised as the best assemblage south of Princeton, NJ, I was skeptical, but I now think that it is a fair description. I enjoyed walking the manicured grounds and touring the extensive collection of American Artwork hung in the old home of the Reynolds Family (it is now owned by Wake Forest University). I'd encourage you to make the trip. more

Impressive Collection of American Art 4/13/2006

I just visited here recently and was shocked to find out how big a collection the Reynolda House Museum of American Art was. They have a ton of great paintings. I'm not an art expert but it was an interesting way to spend the afternoon. If you are looking for something different to do in Winston Salem you should check out this museum of art. more

American Art 8/18/2005

The Reynolda House is a very interesting place to visit. I don’t however recommend you taking young children there because there isn’t much for them to do. I was very impressed with the prices to visit children under 18 are free. This is a big bonus for a lot of families. You will find a beautiful restaurant to dine in when your finished and some nice ships (again not young children friendly). I have heard the new exhibition wing is complete but we have not been there to see if yet. This is a great place to visit if you like art. more
