I used these doctors for about a year but I had my last straw with their shenanigans. They are so rude and incompetent, it is ridiculous. I went in about three weeks ago because I was about to pass out and I was running a fever. They said I had a sinus infection and prescribed me antibiotics. Turns out I was allergic to the antibiotic they gave me and I was rushed to the ER the next day. There I learned that antibiotics can't help sinus infections because most are viral. I called BFHC the day of the reaction and I called them the day after to see if I had a viral or bacterial infection. The receptionist said that I had no bacteria infection, so I asked why did they prescribe me the antibiotic. She said that she couldn't speak for the nurse and hung up on me. I was livid. As I found a new PCP, it turns out I had a very blatant case of mastoiditis and I was literally days away from losing my hearing and developing meningitis. BFHC would have caught it, had they simply looked behind my ear. This isn't the first times I have had problems with them. Dr. Beck is the worst doctor there. I went in with an allergic reaction one time and he gave me a shot in the hip that I refused. I couldn't walk for two days because the steroid given. Also during a visit, I asked him if the depo provera shot was effective. He said it was and wouldn't answer any of my questions about side effects. I said I wanted to wait and research the drug more, but he gave me the shot even though I refused five times. He said because I had asked, I had to get it. I have had horrible side effects from it and I have bad cysts that a gyno is trying to clear up. (Dr. Beck didn't even get his degree in the US according to the BFHC website) This place is not worth your time and money. They don't listen to you, they give you medicines for no reason and they can't explain their actions. I can't believe this place is still open with all the complaints they have and their lack of professionalism. more

Scheduled an appointment for a stress test and echocardiogram, showed up for the appointment early 30 minutes later was told I had to pay $380.00 before I could have my tests performed, then they said I could pay half which I wasn?t prepared for, Very unprofessional, very slow. Had they told me that I would have the out of pocket expense when they scheduled it I would have been prepared for it, I wouldn't have missed work for nothing. I tried to talk to the office manager to tell him this and was ignored after leaving a courteous voice mail asking for a call. I will never use again. Thanks for Nothing Very disappointed. more

Dr. Reyes is the primary dr for my son. He's great with kids and really listens to your concerns which I love. Doesn't blow them off like some doctors. He also has no problem referring to a specialist if you want one or he thinks you need one. The specialist prescribed the same thing for my son's asthma as Dr. Reyes had. I feel confident going to him and entrusting him with my son's health. more

Had to visit their urgent care clinic the other day and left with a great impression. At no point did I need to wait more than 10 minutes or so. The staff were constantly looking in to see how I was doing when I was waiting or hooked up to treatment and the doctors and nurses took time and care to explain what was going on. Yes, When one visits this clinic it does seem to take long before one is seen by the doctor but those that have been to BFHC can't deny the care they recieved was worth the wait. In most doctors' offices one waits and waits and when the doctor comes in he spends very little time. Dr. Reyes takes the time to explain what is going on and gives one the kind of personal attention that is rarely seem elsewhere. Pros: Great Care! Cons: Longer wait. more

I've only been to this doctor's office 3 times, but each time was at least a 45 minute wait. Test results were lost and I was told they had not arrived on two of the three visits! I had to wait while the staff called and had them faxed again. I'm looking for another doctor. Pros: They take new patients Cons: long wait, reports seem to disappear more
