Know the Truth 2/10/2011

I took my dog to this daycare for about 3-4 months. It got to the point where he did not want to go in the door so I started asking questions. One of my neighbors works there and I found out alot. All of the dogs are caged (caged is the right word- they are so small some dogs cannot move in them) for atleast 3 hours in the middle of each day and sometimes longer so that the owner can send all of the workers home and reduce her payroll. Do you not wonder why this place has only one webcam while all of the others in the area have multiple ones? Also, I found out about one of the dogs being attacked by 3 other dogs. The one attacked was hurt badly and this happened because there were not enough workers to watch the number of dogs that were there. None of the other daycares leave just one person with over 50 great big dogs! My dog came home scratched all over with some bleeding- they had allowed a great dane to paw all over a 36lb. dog and no one stopped it. I had paid for visits in advance and still have several left. Julie can have that time - I would not take my dog back there for anything - unless your dog is very large and aggressive, they are not safe there. more

staff is great, inexperienced owner 6/30/2009

Some of the staff is great with the dogs. They treat them like their own pets which I really like! The downside is that almost every time I have put my dog in overnight he has come back sick and they cannot explain why. After taking him to the vet they believe that it may not be clean enough and that is why my dog gets sick. He is a very healthy dog and has never gotten sick anywhere else he has stayed. After one trip he was so sick and dehydrated he had to get IV fluids at the vet! The owner is also not the most qualified person to run a doggy daycare in my opinion. Julia has a fear of certain breeds of large dogs and shows her fear around the dogs which in turn makes the dogs uncomfortable. I have also noticed that she does not understand certain basics about handling and being around large breed dogs. If you are looking for a place for your dog to play with others during the day this place is ok but I wouldn't leave my dog here overnight! Pros: staff is very good with dogs Cons: my dog has gotten sick almost every time he been boarded more

Great Place 3/22/2007

As a person who is relatively new to Atlanta and has a newly adopted dog to care for, I was worried about where to take my little pet. She means the world to me and I wouldn't want to leave her anywhere I wasn't sure about. After researching a few places, I decided that this was the one for us. They're hours are great, the staff is friendly, and I can even watch my little girl playing with her new friends from my computer. Pros: caring, friendly staff; covenient location; good value more

My dogs and I love Rex and Roxy's!! They have a friendly staff (especially the owner), clean facilities, great prices and an awesome web site that includes a web cam so that I can check in on my dog any time during the day. I have 2 dogs that go there every day! My small dog LOVES Rex and Roxy's Petites! If you have a dog, I reccommend Rex and Roxy's!!! Pros: service, clean, prices, web cam Cons: n/a more

Best Service and Best Value! 4/30/2006

The staff at Rex and Roxy's really take an interest in your dogs, and it shows. Mine go to daycare once a week, and they always have a blast- I can tell because I see them on the webcam! And on top of being a top notchdaycare, Rex and Roxy's also has some of the best pricing in the city when you purchase their package deals. They really are the best! Pros: Great Staff, Great Facility, Gret Prices more

My dog is so happy here! 9/17/2004

My dog goes crazy as soon as he knows we're going. He is always worn out and happy when I pick him up. My co-workers and I don't get much work done because we spend all day watching their webcams---it's a hoot! The workers there actually play as much with the dogs as the dogs play with each other. I haven't seen another daycare where the people seem to really love getting dirty and having fun with the dogs--everyone there has been so nice to me, and it's obvious they really care about the dogs they take care of. Pros: good rates, friendly staff, clean, fun facility more

I love my dog and they do too! 8/26/2004

That was by far the cleanest Kennel/ Boarding/ Daycare facility I have been to in this city. They have 2 huge outside areas compared to the others - and when I was there - there was no barking which means a happy bunch of dogs. Knowledgeble staff too. Kudos to the 2 managers on staff - they were very cool. I wouldn't bring my dog anywhere else. My dog actually GAINED weight when he was there! When I bring him back - it's the first place he actually runs to the door. Thanks. Pros: Clean, Friendly more
