A very large selection of Fabrics and Patterns 7/19/2012

A very large selection of fabrics and patterns, and helpful staff who are good at making suggestions and guiding you through your selection process. I have found that the best time for shopping is first thing in the morning, which for them is 10:00. A nice selection of bridal fabrics that are high quality, true Alencon laces, lovely formal fabrics, gorgeous silks, faux furs, Quilting, suiting, and just about anything else you could imagine or need. They also have a good selection of high quality trims, ribbons, buttons and notions. Yes, some of their items are pricey, but on the whole I have found that what they carry is worth the price. This is not Wal-Mart or Jo-Ann's, but a true fabric store with well trained, courteous staff and a vast array of textile possibilities. I have never had a bad experience in there, and always look forward to going back. Highly recommend shopping here! more

The Only Fabric Store for Serious Fabric Selections 3/21/2011

REX Fabrics stocks every fabric you can think of. I was referred there to have a suit handmade. The staff helps you choose the best fabric while also teaching you about the different types available. more

The other day we were at Rex Fabrics and they have someone who greets you at the front door, staff that immediately greet you once you walk in and if you need information about fabrics for dresses, suits, home decoration then you need to visit their showroom. more

Owner is clinically unstable 1/8/2011

While I was there, I was having a political conversation with my sister only to be interrupted by the owner himself. He rudely yelled at me for my political opinions (which he had completely misconstrued and taken out of context) and later said that I was personally the reason that Obama was the president and that he would not sell to me. He was menacingly yelling, and pointing directly at my face. I will NEVER walk into that store and spend a dime there ever again. more

beautiful assortment of fabrics and laces 7/6/2010

I found some beautiful lace at Rex Fabrics when I went in with my mother in law. She knows her fabrics and loves this shop. After shopping with her I understand why. They have a beautiful assortment of high end fabrics and lace to die for. Once we get settled out in Miami, I plan on going back and stocking up on my fabrics and notions. more
