BEWARE! Rex Express Care is not an Urgent Care. Yes it is set up like one and they try to get you in an out without the wait of the hospital ER but they will bill you like an outpatient visit! I went thinking it was just another urgent care, they even collected my urgent care copay but then billed my insurance as a hospital outpatient visit and now my insurance will not pay for the visit!!!! They put it all toward my deductibe since it was an outpatient visit and said they cannot do anything about it, they have to go by the way Rex sent in the claim. Rex claims they are not an urgent care and I will be receiving my copay back but they will not recode the bill!!!! Yes you get good quality service but if I would have went to the ER I would have had to pay $150 less and if it was a ""regular"" urgent care I would not have paid anything but my copay!
