I searched and searched for the best taqueria in the Portland Metro area, and I found it at Taqueria Uruapan in Canby. I wanted an inexpensive "hole-in-the-wall" taqueria that served huge burritos Mexican style - that you eat with your hands. The Al Pastor (sauteed pork) burritos were the best!!! Lots of meat, rice, cilantro, salsa, and beans all inside a tightly rolled tortilla. I asked for whole beans (instead of refried beans) and no lettuce. That's the way I like 'em. The place had several mexican families enjoying dinner... definitely a good sign. I will gladly drive the extra few miles to eat here on a regular basis. Truly authentic and very delicious!
