Enjoyable stay 4/15/2003

I thought the Aladdin had a great combination of comfort, conveniences, and location for the price. Pros: Nice rooms, Location, Shopping Cons: Small rooms, Pricey more

Aladdin Resort & Casino 3/10/2003

I have stayed at Aladdin on three different occasions in the last two years and have always been impressed with the service, the rooms, the personnel and the food. I have also stayed at MGM, Circus Circus, Paris and Bally's in the last few years and I beleieve that Aladdin is the best of that group, by far. It is not overcrowded, yet there is enough "action" to maintain the excitement level. The prices are very reasonable, the attention to detail is very good and the restaurants are excellent. The machines are loose enough, if you learn the right ones. The table games are professional, but a little quiet. The floor staff is very cordial. The central Strip location is perfect. I recommend the Aladdin very highly. It is an excellent value. Pros: Great Players Club, Good Comps, Great Macine Choice Cons: Some Bands Too Loud more

Great Buffet! 3/10/2003

The hotel's location is extremely convenient. The rooms are standard sized and clean; the bathrooms are large. The rooms are a little bit of a hike from the entrance, which seems to be typical in LV. You must try the buffet - probably the best next to Bellagio! They also give a discount for the buffet for guests as well as priority seating. Pros: Buffet, Shopping, Location more

Big Winner!! 3/10/2003

The Aladdin was great! Amazing what winning will do for your attitude/review. Set up gambling in advance with a casino host...best thing I ever did. They were ready for me and it was the red carpet treatment from there. This carried over to the tables, had a blast playing Black Jack and Craps (highly recommend this for first timers, basics are easy and they are glad to teach). Big thanks to my Casino Host, Jason Mattaini, first class all the way. Best news is, thanks to my winning, I am "comped" from here on out. I'll be back! Pros: Welcome, Great place to win, Host, Jason Mattaini Cons: getting to the room, not a hot spot in PM, too many shops more

Great View, but... 3/4/2003

Just got back from a long weekend at the Aladdin... My fiancee and I had a great time staying there. When we checked in, I told the front desk I heard they had great views of the Bellagio and I got a free upgrade to a room with the Bellagio view just for mentioning it. The Elemis spa is also awesome. The worst part of the weekend was the bed. The bed felt like a bed you'd find in summer camp cabin. Sleepable, but not a lot of fun. The Casino was okay, the buffet was very good. The service was impeccable. THe bathrooms are awesome with a big deep tub. Pros: Great Service, Great View, Great Spa Cons: Awful beds more

poor! poor! everything! 2/24/2003

This hotel in one word, SUCKED! The front desk is horrible. They are rude and they use endearments instead of your name which is very patronizing. The shops are good and the buffet. The rooms have lying mirrors that make you LOOK super skinny. the only good thing is the the size of the bathroom. you have to walk forever (through all the shops) just to get to your room. No wonder this hotel is going bankrupted!! more

Good value 1/5/2003

This hotel has a great location. Nice accomadations. Very reasonable price. Pros: good value more

Not good 11/17/2002

I didn't love this hotel. Outside of the mall, which actually was great and still my favorite on the strip, the service here was bad, the rooms weren't great, there was no gym/spa and they had just gone bankrupt or something. The casino was boring and it didn't have the type of crowd I expect in Vegas. It's a great family hotel, honestly, because of the price and much of this wouldn't matter to families. Pros: rooms available, nice mall, convenient Cons: poor service, poor quality, lame crowd more

Top notch without crowds 10/6/2002

The big theme hotels are fun, but suffer from crowds, slow service, and long waits. Not so at the Aladdin. I checked in within minutes of my arrival. The room was spotless. The meeting center and private banquets were excellent. The casino was nice without being gaudy. The staff was very helpful and freindly. And I loved the location on the Strip. more

Nice but nothing new 8/6/2002

THe Rain storm is the only thing about this hotel that i have to rave about. In the middle of the hotel by the shops they have like an indoor pond looped off.And on the ceiling they have it painted like a clear blue sky with lazy clouds. It starts changing and the blue sky turns black and it looks like a storm is really brewing .. before you know it its sooo dark and it starts to rain!! And then it storms. It looks and sounds so real i even got wet! THe air changed around me and it was cold and you could feel a breeze! It's kinda of fast but happens every 15 min.. its worth it to me to go out of the way to check it out more

The Aladdin is doomed! 7/10/2002

Just got back staying there for the 4th of July holiday. It was ok, but I would never go back. The front desk is slow and the maid service is horrible. I had to make multiple calls to get the maid to show up! For a billion dollar hotel, they forgot to put any money into the pool. The pool was comparible to any standard hotel pool. The buffet was impossible to get to after breakfast. The machines were tight. The bars and new club (Curve) were nothing to see. If you're a twenty or thirtysomething, this hotel is not for you. Very boring atmosphere. The only nice thing about the hotel is the Dessert Passage. I'm going to the Venetian next time. Pros: Dessert Passage, Nice bathroom Cons: Service, Pool, Entertainment more

Cursed 7/5/2002

Front counter service was slow.. Took over an hour to check in and over 30 mins to check out! If you're a gambler, the dealers and pit crews are not friendly at all... I checked my bags with the hotel since I had a later flight that day.. but when I return to get my bags the attendent was no where to be found! He showed up after 30 mins of waiting and was still taking his time. HOrrible service. Horrible attitude. Yea, its cheap to stay there... but I rather pay a few extra bucks across the street at Bellagio for a much better experience. Pros: Inexpensive, New Cons: Poor Service, Cursed more

Nice rooms, great bar 6/3/2002

My family and i stayed here and we are very pleased with the service and the room was really nice. Then we went to the bar downstairs, we listened to the music they have different bands playing every night. Very relaxing... more

Not bad, but not great 5/28/2002

Stayed for three nights over Memorial Day Weekend. The rooms are a bit strange; the bathroom is lovely with a nice large tub and seperate shower, but you can't turn on the light for the commode except for right inside the outer bathroom's door. There is no closet in the standard rooms, rather, a large armoire. That takes care of clothing, but where do you stash your suitcase? . . . I enjoyed Desert Passage, I actually liked shopping there better than at Ceasars as it was less crowded and still had some quality shops, and the 24-hour Starbucks is fantastic (though sometimes it had quite a long line). None of us had much luck at the tables or slots (they're a bit tight), but had fun nonetheless. Breakfast at the Zanzibar cafe was good, but don't bother with the other meals as it gets crowded and service gets worse. Pros: Bathtub more

Night with ZZ 5/21/2002

I saw ZZ Top at the Aladdin theater located inside the mall section of the Casino. I was very impressed with with the theater. It was clean, and the sound quality was increadible. If you get a chance to see a concert there, I would totally recomend going! Pros: Good Parking, Not too Crowded Cons: Not enough Bathrooms more
