Residential Snowplow Service

I usually shovel the driveway myself, but when I woke up with a terrible stiff neck yesterday, 2/27, I know I had to find another option. I called Residential SnowPlow Service at 11:00AM and spoke to a man who said that he was currently driving the truck and for some reason the calls were being routed to him. He asked where I live and he told me that I was within the service area and that he could plow my driveway that day. He asked that I call back and leave a voicemail with my name, phone number, and address and to write my info including credit card info and email address to send a receipt on a piece of paper which he would collect when he came. At 4:30 no one had come or called. I figured they were very busy this day after quite a bit of heavy snow, but I was just curious when I should be expecting someone. I called the same number as I did earlier and a different man answered. He said that I must have called somewhere else earlier because they are not taking new accounts. I politely explained that I indeed called this same number and told him everything that the man I spoke with earlier said. He took my name, address and credit card info and said that some one would be by that evening but he couldn't say what time. When we were getting off the phone he thanked me for my business. I was happy as long as I would be able to get out in the morning. This morning, however, I woke up to a driveway full of snow. If they did not want my business, that is fine, I just wish they would have told me so that I could make other arrangements. more

I have lived in the Lake in the Hills area and then Crystal Lake for nearly 15 yrs, and have never owned a snowblower. Having said that you can imagine I've had my share of plow companies out, from ones that after a storm show up a day later, to someone who shows up in ther middle of a storm and then wants an extra fee to replow the drive. I've had them all. Just out of the blue I called Residential SnowPlow and I was blown away at the service, he even got out of the truck and did some shoveling to the sides of the drive and even made sure when the city plows came tearing through that the snow around the bottom of the drive was removed so to leave very little by the city trucks. And the cost, this is one guy you JUST CAN'T BEAT. I will be using this company for all future needs!!! more

A service I have come to rely on simply because he does what he says he will do at the time he says he will do it. After being snowed in we decided to call a snow plow service and of all the companies we called Residential SnowPlow was the only one that answered the call and showed up when they said they would. They set up an account for me and all I ever had to do was call and they were on top of it. Got the job done when I needed it and at a great price to top it off. They were proactive about getting us on the schedule for the aftermath of the storm and I never had to call back to have a second plow like most other companies did. Absolutely brilliant job! Many of the plow services I've had before just showed up at the hint of snow, requiring 2 plows to get the job done and generating an extra fee. This idea's great. Call them when you want, and at the right time so you don't waste a plow too early. Always showed up on time, and never wasted my money. You can't get any better than that! more

This service has been a life saver. They are prompt, courteous and get it done right the first time. They clear my driveway before i go to work and/or before I get home. They are the best value for the money in our area. more
