i told reservationist & front desk ""light sleeper"" but got noisy room. Hotel must know of the problem as its the same in each room there, but chose not to disclose it. \r
1st no sleep due to ac noise & wind, even w/ earplugs. finally turned it off (difficult and no instructions), opened the window (nice cool night). Then even w/ earplugs i was startled out of sleep by noise on and off of 3 ac machines (from surrounding units) outside my window. \r
Also many mosquitoes in the room. \r
6am I see that whole hotel has 4 ac machines units by each window. staff unfriendly, unresponsive. said ""we can offer you earplugs"".\r
I was here for job training m-f 8-5. 10 am i call hotel to discuss my options. they say be out by noon or charged another day. i said could not return til 5. they repeat the 12:00 rule. finally mgr says 3pm, which still did not help my job situation. i lost my job due to this situation. VERY ANGRY! \r
The ac made jarring click upon starting causing anyone to startle in silence of night. when i said maybe its broken, staff said nothing. Should have said ""maybe we should take a look at it? or ""maybe we can fix it so you don?t have to leave"". complete apathy and disconnect. \r
when nights are cool mgmt should not allow guests to use ac. waste of energy and ozone. Staff said ""it?s the guest's preference"", but what about my guest preference with their machines next to my bed? \r
POORLY BUILT PLACE!!!!!! who the heck put those machines next to the only window that opens, and the bed next to that same window? no attention placed on the most important thing - sleep. Yet they managed to place detail on little soaps and a candy jar. lack of sleep is destructive. and the staff's response doubled it. \r
ALSO staff enters rooms w/o permission. 3pm they unlocked my front door and I yelled no. Even if mgr offered 3pm check out time does not mean staff should come and open door at 3pm. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
