Sewer access was in a dusty, dirty, cramped space under the main level floor. Jeff crawled in there and fought an old sewer line that didn't have enough angle to drain properly now that LOW FLOW toilets are the rule. Mike and the gang discovered and replaced a fitting that had failed when a previous contractor switched us over from septic to city sewer. I have had a recurring blockage that would back up one bathroom. It had been jetted recently by another company but the jetting did not remove all the cast iron sediment in the pipe and the blockage returned within 5 months. The blockage was cleared by Mike and a camera inspection reveled the transition fitting that had slipped. The fitting was outside the foundation wall about 10 feet down. It needed to be replaced. Russell recommended installing 2 sweep 90 elbows outside the house so the sewer line could be jetted properly and the sediment would be washed downstream. The work was preformed promptly and professionally. The line was jetted properly this time. I reviewed the camera footage before and after the final jetting and now feel good about my cast iron pipes. Care was taken to protect the surrounding areas during the repair and they were good to clean up afterwards. I come from a construction background and have seen and done a lot of plumbing in my younger years. I inspected the replaced fittings and was impressed with the job done. The area was well bedded with gravel and I feel comfortable the repair will hold up well. I will not hesitate to call Rescue Rooter in the future and will recommend them to my friends and family. We had a flood in our basement and couldn't diagnose the problem. We originally called Action Plumbing, who after 3 hours of waiting, finally informed us they couldn't come that day. So we called Rescue Rooter (they arrived within the hour), who also referred All Pro Disaster Cleaning to assist with the removal of carpet and sanitization. My dad probably gave them a hard time, as he's an angry first-generation immigrant and doesn't speak English well, but the technician, Stetson Pierce kept his cool and knew exactly what the problem was. Good job, guys! UPDATE: Stetson also kept up with us for the week while we figured out re-cementing our driveway and additional cleanup. more

Our main drain had backed up and flooded our basement. Rescue Rooter arrived within an hour of our call. They listened to our needs as the drain needed to be cleaned clear to the street as we have problems with tree roots. They brought the extra equipment with them. They fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. We have used them in the past and will continue to use them as needed in the future. They did a great job. Stetson came to my mother's house to clear a clogged drain and was very professional and courteous. He told us before hand what he would be doing and gave us suggestions on other procedures he would do if the first thing didn't work. He never applied any pressure or suggested things that we didn't understand. He also came back the next day to change the fittings under her sinks that were old and leaking. Very impressed with what he did and the cost was very reasonable. We would definitely use them again. more
