If you are looking for quality used furniture, dishes, crystal, dining tables, head boards, dressers and so much more for a reasonable price, you have to check out this place!
They have items going from the 1800's to 2006 and let me tell you Jan is very picky to what goes into her store! She will examine every piece before it hits her floor and I must say everything is very clean and in good shape...even the items from the 1800's. Don't worry if people who have smoked in the home...Jan won't allow it because it is to hard to clean.
Jan is a wonderful woman that really has a good eye for these items, and takes great pride in her work. Wendy, the woman that works with Jan, says Jan is a sweetheart and knows her stuff. "She isn't in it for the money because she loves it so much". Ask Jan any questions about the items in the store, and she will have the answer.
The store itself is filled with tons of goodies. The items are on consignment or chosen by a "picker" who finds items for her.
Jan will barter a bit, but the consignment items she will respect the seller and will call them first to get an ok.
My eyes were so big when I was there. I saw so many goodies. I needed a lamp for my computer desk and I wanted something a bit different. I found this cute little lamp that looks like a little tree with a birds nest nestled in the branches and the shade looks like it's made out of home made paper. Really cute, and the price was right. As most buyers would ask, "does it work?" Well Jan grabbed a light bulb to check it out and works just fine. I am a content shopper at this business.
Will I be back? You betcha! The items are clean and taken care of, or it wouldn't pass Jan's inspection to be in her store!
