Went for X-mas eve at 6pm. We were only one of 4 couples in the entire place, they sat us at a table with a huge pillar next to us blocking the view, then 20 minutes later they sat a table of 4 with dozens of other tables available with a much better view. Pros: Steak was great, the veiw was ok if we had a better table (several were available) Cons: High price, ala carte pricing,looked more like a business dinner than a X-mas event more

This restaurant is one of few in Corpus Christi that has atmosphere and has some pretty good food. Its a little on the high side, but that is ok, when you are compensated by an awesome view of the bayfront and its surroundings. I took my wife here a couple of times and the food has been about average maybe a little more. The quality is there, but maybe the taste is off a bit. My wifes steak was undercooked just a tad but passed. My fish ( i think it was snapper) was good, but it was piled high on top of the fixings which I am not into that. I look for more simple dishes that you can distinguish each of the flavors. The service was excellent and the wine selection is second to none here in Corpus Christi. I would like to see more of these higher quality restaurants pop up in the downtown area, so that there would be a choice and the competion would raise the standards of all these restaurants. Its a romantic place for you and your loved one to go to. Pros: View, wine selection and service. Cons: taste (not off by much) more

You think your paying for the view when you eat here, because it IS expensive. But the service and food are on par with some of the best restaurants I've ever dined in. They offer several entrees that are for the more adventurous. My only gripe was a slice of pecan pie that had a moderately burnt crust that they promised would be credited but they did not. Pros: view, view, view more

Atop the Omni, I have dined here a couple of times during my stays. Fantastic view of the city! Had the buffalo chop on my most recent visit and it was delicious. The bisque to start with was excellent. I highly reccommend the Quail Legs for starters as well. Wine list was thorough and reasonable. Service was good, but has always been pretty slow at taking orders, and getting food out. Several managers came by to make sure that everything was going well. more
