Republic Western - unprofessional, rude, and scammers 6/28/2009

I only give a one star because zero isn't an option. I rented a tow dolly from U-Haul, they told me putting my car in neutral to tow it was sufficient, long story short...it blew the transmission and rear axle differential in my car ($6300 in damages) and they are refusing my claim saying that it's common sense that you have to disengage the drive shaft before you tow a 4x4 vehicle. republic western insurance company and U-Haul are crooks 3/31/2008

I rended a car trailer from uhaul and the idiot yard guy didnt secure the trailer to my hitch and it popped off and slammed into the back of my truck damaging it. I filed a claim with Republic western and after 5 MONTHS they denied my claim saying in effect that I was a lier and it couldnt have happened, they wont return my calls and still have never put their denial in writting to me. These people are crooks and endanger peoples lives. they accept the word of a minimum wage yard guy who would lose his job if he admited to making this kind of mistake over a loyal customer who has no reason to lie. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH EITHER OF THEM> I am suing these creeps! more
