Angelo was awesome... pay no attention to someone who was very judgemental about the store and the way he looked. He cared about his customers and animals very much! I was very sad to hear that he died on Father's Day. It has been very hard to find someone who understands the African Spur-thighed Toroise as well as he did. People are telling me to check out The Reptile Guys, so I will... but it is just not the same! more

Angelo is a caring, very informed resource, who genuinely care about the reptiles, exotic creatures and you! He will talk to the novice and the expert with the same interest and respect. As for the review, nature does not exist in a clean sterile environment! It is more important that the reptiles are cared for properly than what the lay person considers...aestetically. Reptiles, insects and other exotic pets are extremely sensitive to cleaning products. Please make sure before you write a review, you are familiar with the subject matter and not a casual observer. Ok, so several weeks ago I went into this reptile showcase. I was going to purchase a turtle for my son. Well needless to say, as soon as I stepped foot into this establishment, I was disgusted. The smell was horrific, and the store was dirty. The man that was behind the counter looked as if he was on something. If they cannot take care of the store, or themseleves, how in the world do u think those reptiles are taking care of????? Needless to say my decision was to go to a different establishment, where the person I talked to would look at me and not above my head when I had a question, and who shows respect, and clenliness to the environment. So if you are looking to get any type of reptile or spiders I would NOT RECOMMEND this place. Pros: no pros found Cons: horrible customer service, store had a horrid smell, store was filthy... more
