I had a good visit, but it is hard to have a visit over the phone. I am grateful that I could do that, though, as I would not have been able to meet with Dr. Swelstad in person in September and all the appointments for when he was in Rexburg were filled. He was thorough in answering my questions to make sure I understood what was being said. I have not heard back from the nurse, yet. She was going to email me things to do or call me and tell me or something. It's okay that I haven't heard back, yet, because I think we may be looking into something besides IUI and/or in-vitro. My husband and I both thought Dr. Swelstad is a nice guy who knows his stuff. I felt like he was supportive. - Tracy Y. more

Everyone at the Layton clinic has been very kind and helpful. I was nervous at first but they have alleviated my fears. I was a little disappointed that no one called me to let me know the results of my lab tests but when I asked they took the time to make sure I understood. Dr. Swelstad spoke with us for an hour and a half. I have never been given so much attention by a doctor. I was very pleased with that. I felt he explained things well. I felt very confident in his ability to assess the problems I have been having. Honestly, after years of feeling like I was getting all the wrong answers, I finally felt I was getting the right ones. The only thing that made us nervous was the brief mention of IVF but I think that has more to do with our personal fears than anything else. KT more

My husband and I had a great experience recently. We both feel like the plan we were given finally has given us some hope on our journey to add a baby to our family. We are focusing on the positive and hope as we start our plan next month the test results and medications will work! It's been 14 months with no success, after our visit with Dr. Swelstad we feel confident it won't take another 14 months for me to carry our baby. The entire staff was pleasant, made us feel welcome and reassured us they would be there with any questions/concerns we had along the way. - AMW, Clearfield, UT more
