We send a pallet of 2x6x8 ft of lumber. We bid over $300 on it. The photos showed it all in great shape. When we got it home and started to unload it we found that only the ones on top were good and most of the rest was split, and/or rotten. Squishy like a sponge. It didn't even look like what we seen in the pictures. Had we known it was going to be mostly rotten unusable lumber we would have never wasted our time even bidding on it. Let alone driving 3 hours away (One way) to get it!!!! And their policy was no returns!!!! Never again!!!! And to think I wanted to buy hardwood flooring from them?!!!! Not now. I'm afraid we will spend over $1000 and not even be able to use it for anything but a bonfire!!!! more

These folks are illegitimate, I would liken it to a pawn shop mentality. You will not come out a winner here. buyer beware. I guarantee the positive reviews were written by the company itself. more

I've bought several things from this auction, although normally I believe I'm outbid by the practice of shill bidding. The auction company apparently can't monitor every piece they sell so once in a while something can be bought for a reasonable price, but that seems to be increasingly rare.Be careful bidding here, and encourage oversight . more

They know how many people have added an item to there watch list. Items with a lot of interest they or the owner of the item being auctioned bid against you. Items in new packaging are selling for more than I can buy them on Amazon for. So either people using this site have zero common sense or they are bidding the item up. When it goes up for auction 2 weeks later it just proves the fact that the owner or repocast are the winning bidder. The more you spend on an item the more they make therefore it gets bid as high as possible. Plenty of other auction sites out there that are local. more

Its sad when a company with so many diversions of auctions sites options is hamstrung by legacy IT servers and portals , There websites during peak hours continually crash leaving the negative on the seller who could have gotten so much more for there goods but the site was frozen. The incompetence of the miedema corporation and the multiple auction companies they represent borders on criminal representation . more

Id rate it 0 stars but it would not let me. WOW what a RIP off. I have bought from them multiple times. Almost everything they sell is JUNK. For some reason others receive special treatment over you. When you bid on something it is sold as is...or so i was told. Had to pay up front to then turn around and sell it for a major loss. When you sell with them, total opposite story... They call you to inform you that you will not be paid on such item because the buyer didn't want it. or there credit card was false. I would not recommend REPOCAST to anyone. From the 25% fee to just sell the item, and on top of that a 5 dollar fee. for instance, selling something for 10$ you will end up with 2.50$. what a rip off. They are pocketing everything else. Avoid REPOCAST, They have special treatments for others and screw you over. more

I bought a pallet of store return tv's, nine total. Took them home opened every box carefully. Only to find every screen broken, they all power up. Had them for 5 days took them back to resell for internal parts only. Was told by Tim,the manager we could not sell them at Repocast. I made a 200 mile round trip only to be turned away. Then I find out Repocast has people who test these things before they are sold. Repocast knew these were damaged and said nothing to their customers. I felt discriminated against. I will never do business with Repocast again. more

I recently wrote A review about my negative experience with Repocast of Byron Center and was soon after contacted by the vice president of the company, he went over some of their policies and explained the steps to take for any problematic purchases in the future. I was very surprised to receive a phone call since I did not post my phone number, he put in some work to contact me and even looked into every purchase I described prior to contacting me, I think that is very commendable and would like to update everyone on my experience with this company. more

I have been participating in online auctions at repocast in Byron Center for about 4 months now and have been mislead had items misrepresented and flat out ripped off, for example I had purchased a glass bowl advertised as baccarat crystal, after picking the item up and bringing it home it was clearly stamped KIC Indonesia on the bottom. Another issue was a Jensen Atv stereo advertised as in original package after bringing it home there was a paper inside the plastic package stating that the item was sent in for warranty for a melted ground cord and went on to explain how the original owner had hooked it up wrong and fried it. The ground cord was clearly melted and it also had burn marks on the other cords. Issue 3 Some air horns advertised as new picked them up they were rusted & pitted and only one was working. Issue 4, A Jensen boat stereo advertised as new picked it up and a main part was missing. after all that being said i have only participated in 3 or 4 auctions so about 80 to 90% of everything purchased has been bad. It is my honest opinion that the repocast in Byron Center does not care about the customer and is only out to make as much money as possible they will leave out details, misrepresent and flat out lie to do so. You can always waste your time and spend hours inspecting the items at their location that will probably get bid up too high that even if in the end they are in good condition you will not buy anyway or find a site that will be honest about what they are selling or at least not take the word of a seller who consigns an item to them. basically you could take all your broken stuff from home tell the repocast staff it is new and they will advertise it as that, you will get top dollar for your trash and screw whoever buys it Thats just good business. more

I've been using Repocast for a few years .. Yes I have had the lose items I won , no they don't offer cash refunds only gift cards. I took a car down to have them sell for me ..asked them about setting a reserve.. They explained to me that its cheaper if I just bid against my own item !! If I win it all I have to do is pay $50 and they will relist the car and try it again ! Don't believe me? Give them a call more

I purchased a large ticket item on Repocast.com and the process was completed smoothly with very little work necessary from my end. The item was represented accurately online with pictures and a video which allowed me to purchase the item without an onsite inspection. more

I am a repeat customer at Repocast and I am very fond of the company and the business practices they perform. I am not the type of person to write a review about a company, but in this case I had such a positive experience I thought I would write one. I recently purchased a few different items from this company, and everything from the bidding down to picking up my products was a breeze, and everyone was very friendly. As I read through other reviews some of them made me confused. As I have read through repocast's website it says that if your purchase is under a certain amount of money they are going to charge a certain % on buyers premium. If you are a first time customer I would recommend you read all of the information before you get to the payment step and get upset because you are paying more for your product. I just love this company and it makes me sad when people bash it when they are the ones who may or may not have read the fine print. I am not pointing fingers at anyone, I love this company and hope more people find out how great this company is. more

Where to start, this place is a virtual comedy of errors. They have misplaced my purchase on 2 occasions, rather then give me a refund for the CASH we paid, they gave us a giftcard for future purchases(yeah, I'm really gonna use you in the future) lol In fact on not one occasion that I have come to pick up items have I not heard over the intercom system something to the affect of "can't find such and such item, anybody know where it is?" Customer service dept. is a joke, believe the guys name is Dirk, certainly not qualified to handle customer service in any way, shape, or form with zero communication skills. They have now raised their fees on purchasing to 15%! Since they take 25% from the seller, thats 40% of the items sale price plus a lot fee they're taking, yet they can't find competent help. Total ripoff, will not use again, too many other more reputable sites than this incompetent cast all the way from the top, Chad, to the hourly employees. more

I am a person who likes to see things before I purchase them, and by repocast having the option to physically come to its location & view a product before the auction is very beneficial. I am a person who will take time to learn more about the product and the functions it possesses. Also by viewing the item before the auction I was able to talk to repocast employees about the product with any questions I had. Overall it was a great experience and I will defiantly become a repeat customer. more

I am a repeat customer to Repocast.com and I must say I love the company. Their website is very easy to navigate through, and if I ever have a problem their customer service reps are very welcoming and helpful towards my questions. When looking through the descriptions of the items I find them to be very detailed which is very nice because I like to know a lot about a product before I decide to start bidding on it, especially if there are any pricing details or specific details about purchasing/picking up my item.My husband and I are both addicted to the website and check it every week for new auctions! more

Descriptions are never accurate!! They list a lot of stuff as new that has clearly been very used. Most of the stuff is junk that doesn't work properly. Their customer service is some of the worst I have ever seen. They don't offer any refunds even if the description is way off. They have an 18% buyer premium + 6% sales tax = 24% on every item sold. They bid their items up. Avoid at all costs!!!! more

I have made several purchases in the past but never again. They list items as being in good condition. However every time I have made a purchase it has been totally misrepresented. When questioned how they can list something as being good when in fact it doesn't even run, they say" It's not our fault, this was the description the seller gave" If you make a purchase there be aware that they will say what it takes to get bids, not the truth. There is no recourse as they'll tell you it was bought AS-IS and there is no guarantee as to the accuracy of the description. Never again for me!! more

Repocast.com was great, their staff friendly and there is so much stuff to bid on. Highly recommend. very honest people from all i could tell that care about their customers more

I hope those who bid on this stuff realize the employees bid against you just to boost the sale. If you back out before they do. They'll just re-list the item later more

The greed here is awful. First they lost items I've won. They wouldn't refund, just offered repocast credit. Second, for a long time they weren't charging the $5 fee for items that sold for $5. We took a bunch of stuff down there that all sold for $5, they suddenly decided to start charging the $5 plus the commission, so we paid them $1 per auction to take our stuff. If they had done that from the beginning we wouldn't have taken a large quantity over there. Things aren't as described and its just "oh well". Plus if you take your stuff there, they take awful pictures so your stuff doesn't sell for much if at all...they don't care, they are getting paid regardless! If they had better customer service and showed the sellers respect, it would be a great company. But all they care about is getting as much money from your pocket as possible. I used to think eBay was bad but their fees are nothing in comparison! Avoid at all costs. more
