I brought my car in after losing the power steering to find that the shaft in the pump had broken. After replacing the pump, there was still something wrong and they decided that it was the rack that needed replacing (the bill was now around $1100). But after the rack was replaced, there was still something wrong and they realized that the valve in the replacement pump was defective, so they replaced the replacement pump (under warranty) and left the new rack in but removed the charge from the bill (which ended up at $500). He could have easily kept the $1100 without telling me that the new rack was not necessary, but he didn't. more

Repair Masters Automotive, Boulder, CO?? I can?t say enough good things about Jim and his employees, and the great work they do. A fellow co-worker recommended this shop after hearing that I was having trouble finding a shop I trusted to do repairs on my vehicle. After taking my vehicle there, I won?t go anywhere else for auto repairs. I am very pleased with the repair work done on my vehicles by Jim and his crew. They are honest and have never done a repair that didn?t need to be done, for example: I took my car in for brake work and was told the back brake pads need replaced, but the front pads are still good for another 10,000 miles. The prices they charge are reasonable, the explanation of the repairs is very detailed, the service is great and the overall experiences I have had far exceed any I have had at other shops. I have been taking my vehicles to Repair Masters Automotive for over 8 years and I have never had a bad experience. If I have an automotive problem, they go out of their way to help me, however they can. I won?t go anywhere else for automotive repairs. They have gone above and beyond what I would expect from an automotive repair shop. Repair Masters Automotive is truly a glimpse from the past. They are like your small town shop that still maintains a good old fashioned business philosophy: to treat their customers like their friends and make it a priority to do the job well. They have always guaranteed their work and I have never had to take my vehicle back in for a repair that wasn?t done right. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest auto repair. I was told by a local dealer that my truck was in need of a fuel pump. When they told me the price of the repair I walked out. I took my truck to Repair Masters and not only did they beat the dealers price, the work was done the same day.Jim was very helpful and advised me of repairs that I would need in the future. Now that I have found a honest repair shop they will have a coustmer for life! more

Honestly, I never get on sites and comment on what experiences I have had with companies but I felt I had to comment on this AWESOME Repair Shop. I was on my way to a very important business meeting when I realized I had engine coolant leaking and smoke coming out of the hood. I Googled repair shops and this shop had great reviews. I drove up to see if they could help me. As I walked into the shop Jim greated me right away asking how he can help. As I explained another mechanic came up and it appeared he was having lunch but stopped to help see what he could do. They looked at my car and within minutes realized I had a cracked radiator hose. They told me the repair could not be done at the moment but would order the part and would drive me to my appointment, which they gladly did (life saver). I finished my meeting, they came back by and picked me up and my car was all taken car of. Seriously, I live in Denver and I have no problems driving to Boulder for my repairs from this great shop. more

This is the best shop I have ever been to. I got an honest repair for a good price. Jim even took pics of the problem with my car and sent them to me to help explain the repair. I will be back for all my maintaince and repairs from now on. more

I trusted Jimmy and crew, but after I picked up the car with an additional 150 miles on it and 1/2 tank gas gone, my trust deminished. Then, trusting them to over $9,000 worth of repairs, 3 weeks later it all failed, and they took NO responsibility, avoided my calls, and would not respond. I took the car to a dealer and found out that not only did they neglect the actual problem, but the repairs done were not needed from the start... it was all a scam! \r At one time, Jimmy had a great and honest auto repair shop, but greed has gotten in the way... more

Jim and his crew lied about the repairs needed and $9000 later and 3 weeks post repairs, the car broke down. I got no response, responsibility, or professionalism when inquiring about the repairs and why it only lasted 3 weeks. Upon visiting a dealership, I found out that the actual repairs needed were neglected, the repairs done were not needed, and I was ripped of for services I didn't need. No wonder Jim avoided my phone calls regarding the matter once he had the money in his pocket. I remember when Jim ran an honest auto repair shop.... No more! Avoid this scam shop! more

Jim and all the people at Repair Masters were very helpful with getting my van up and running. The shop was very busy and still they took they time to get me back on the road quickly. I will be a loyal customer from now on. Thanks Jim!! more

I will recommend Repair Masters to all my friends and co-workers. The people are friendly and I felt Jim was honest with me about what repairs I really needed and what I could keep an eye on and wait to fix. The office was clean and comfortable. My car runs great now. I am a customer for life. more
