Renton Collections has some of if not the most uneducated personal working for their company. How do you collect debts in a workers' comp case if you do not accept emails, fax information and cannot speak intelligently on the phone without cursing at the alleged debtor (remember, patients do no pay in workers comp cases) only to hang up when they put you in your place? To tell your customer that you send out a standard letter in workers' comp cases but you do not have an address to send it to. WTF are you thinking? How are you going to send out your standard letter to an address you don't have but you will not take over the phone, via email or by fax. You're group is the most incompetent group of people I've ever seen in the work force. Every single one you should be fired for stupidity. I'm fairly certain and putting your idiots in your place that 75% of then ones I've talked with will quit. more

When you are speaking to a customer service person you should have their utmost attention not be told they have to go because they have another call. You didn't call them for conversation, they are not your friend. You are their customer. I'm sure they are not the only person to take calls. If I ran my business like that I wouldn't be in business long. I've dealt with this place before and they hire people with no personallity, no compassion, no understanding. Once they have served you with paperwork they are not suppose to call you anymore but they do. I was making payment to them for a bill and missed one because of Christmas. They served me with papers saying I owe for attornies fees and all kinds of other stuff. The bill doubled. I asked what would happen if I couldn't pay the entire amount in the 20 days given and they didn't know or care. more

I woudn't be deterred that they've been rude - they're debt collectors, so they aren't paid to be nice. However, in my dealings with them they have actually been quite polite. more

HORRIBLE people!!! 1/15/2008

I JUST called to PAY my bill in full and got the 2 of the RUDEST people at that company!! I told LANDON that I was calling with regard to a bill I had received in the mail and he became the RUDEST person I have EVER talked to before!! And I have had some rude bill collectors call me before. Anyway, the conversation progressed and he repeatedly responded to my request to speak to a supervisor by asking me if I had by checkbook. When I told him that I was going to speak to an attorney about this because it is illegal, he had the nerve to tell me that I should take the money that I paid the attorney and pay my bill! When he finally transferred me to someone else I started to explain what had happened and SHE started laughing! I then asked her to transfer me to her supervisor and she transferred me to a nonexistent (not assigned) voicemail. I hung up the phone and called back. I told the receptionist that I wanted the senior supervisor in the office and she attempted to transfer me to two different men (VERY polite, one of the ONLY in that office!!). When she finally got Mike J***s for me I explained what had happened and told him that I was not going to let this go? While he was very polite and kissed my a** he still asked me after I had told him everything that I could remember (was in too much shock to recall it all) if I wanted to pay my bill!! As if that is all they care about! Well if you guys are reading this, you might want to consider customer service!!! more
