Good used cd store 8/21/2005

Do you have used cds to sell? Do you have the patience to browse through some used cds to get a good price? CD Warehouse has been serving the Georgetown area with some of the newest and best used music. The layout of the store isn't the easiest to understand and it's worth browsing through different categories since they're not always filed correctly. They have an excellent selection of imports which line their back wall. Here you can find the latest Buddha Bar cd or other top DJs. They are usually pretty good with their purchase of your used cds and offer you either cash or store credit. I have found many gems in my music collection here since there are many Georgetown student who use this store and sell their old music. more

Used CDs to buy or trade 8/15/2005

The CD Warehouse is the kind of store that every city needs at least one of. They have a good selection of used CD's and DVD's, but best of all they will buy your old disks. As they say, one man's junk is another man's treasure. The prices here are pretty good and you can find some unusual stuff if you are wiling to poke around. Try your luck at the CD Warehouse. more

Odd Mix 8/15/2005

Even after a few visits, I still have trouble categorizing this music store's selections. Some new techno/club/house, some used classics, some used junk, some top 40: basically appears to be a random mix of whatever they have around. If you're looking for something specific, probably not the best place, but if you're looking to maybe stumble across something you might not find otherwise, this is your place. New releases and full price albums are a bit overpriced, but the discount used CDs can be quite the bargain. more
