Rent-All City

Had a large 70 person party at my home Dec 4, 2010. I did go to the store to view what I would be renting so there would be no surprises. Friendly staff (Lisa and Rob) were flexible as I had to change my order to my liking several times. Also, day before, changed delivery time to help me with set up outside. Tables and chairs were in excellent condition when delivered on time. Linens were delivered in plastic bags and looked professional cleaned ready for use. Delivery guys were extremely helpful and friendly. When the 30" tables arrived, noticed they wouldn't go with the chairs I ordered, so I asked them to take the four tables back for a credit and delivery guys thought it shouldn't be a problem, just call the office to be sure. I am the Catering Director for Savannah's Cafe and have used them MANY MANY times and have always had great experiences. No one is perfect but if a mistake is ever made they MORE than make up for it and are very lenient and understanding when the client makes a mistake. Their service is great and prices are competive. more

My sister just got married May 2010 and we hired this comapny to do chairs, linens, etc. What a HORRIBLE experience this was. What should have been the happiest day of her life turned into a nightmare. The linen napkins were suppose to be ready the day before the wedding and they weren't we had to wrap the napkins at the rehearsal dinner with our guests. The rental truck showed up late on the day of the wedding. The white chairs arrived dirty. We received 2 different sized chair covers which didn't fit all the chairs. NO ONE at this place was willing to help and accomodate us and kept blaming each other. I DO NOT recommend using this company for any events. more

I rented half a dozen silk ficus trees from this company to wrap with twinkle lights for my wedding. However, what arrived at our reception hall was more like a log wrapped in garland. Not at all the "park like" quality I was pitched over the phone. I suggest you see in person what you are renting before dealing with this company. I think this place has been around since the dark ages! It has a grand reputation for having anything and everything that you might want to rent for a wedding and/or reception. They have all the standard stuff you might need for any event or party, such as tables, chairs, linens, serving dishes, flatware, silverware, china, and stemware, etc. They also have some things that you might not think of, including punch sets, bars and dance floors. However, they are notoriously known for having special wedding related items, such as fountains, carpet runners, and gazebos. Finally, I think the hot commodities that are known for sometimes being in short supply are the arches and wishing wells. Im sure they could charge astronomical prices for some of these items, because it is my understanding that at least a few are not available anywhere else in the general St. Petersburg area.
