My friend put me on to Allcar where they have hourly and half day rates. While they only have their cars in their office, they are far more flexible and allow you to cancel, choice of car and even upgrades. Its a far better deal with no membership fees or committments. Pros: More flexible, bigger car selection Cons: need to go to the office more

The place to rent from 2/18/2010

I needed a car, used to use zipcar. These guys are great; the rates are better with no membership or other stupid fees like zipcar had.\r \r The cars are new, clean and Marina is a pleasure to work with Pros: Low rates Nice cars Cons: A little off the main drag more

Good place for a car 12/20/2009

I needed a car for some Christmas shopping and errands. These guys were great. They had better prices than the large national chains and nice cars. They are in between downtown and the slope - a little bit off the beat and path - but worth getting to Pros: Great people, amazing rates Cons: A little out of the slope more
