Laser vain treatment The laser vain treatment did not work for me at all. I did the treatment on February of this year, so enough time has passed to see some results, right? Well, nothing!!!! Not even 10% of improvement. I spent $400 for nothing, this is very sad :-( I guess I will do the scleroteraphy one more time, this has worked for me very well in the pass. The positive, the place is nice and the doctor was very professional. more

Renew Laser Clinic is a must! I have been getting Botox injections, fillers, and laser treatments at Dr. Makow's clinic for the past year and a half. Botox and fillers are painless with great results, as are the laser treatments. Today, I had my first SILKPEEL DERMAINFUSION and FACIAL by the aesthetician, Kathleen. It was the best, most soothing facial I have ever had with incredible results! Parking is within steps of the Renew Laser Clinic in the Crystal Springs Shopping Center off of De Anza, Parrott Drive and/or Polhemus.(across from the Barre Method and Veterinary Clinic). Dr. Macow's clinic is immaculate and serene. and Dr. Makow is very kind, soft spoken, informative and efficient. Specials on specific treatments are frequent. more

Dr. Makow addressed permanent redness around my nose, large pores, and occasional rosacea/redness of my cheeks. I underwent vein removal on my face and two laser treatments, and I've experienced dramatic improvements in the tone, smoothness, and overall appearance of my face. I no longer wear any makeup to cover my skin; the redness around my nose/cheeks has completely disappeared, the overall tone is even, and my skin glows. I give Renew the highest recommendations. In our initial (free) consult, Dr. Makow was genuinely sympathetic and dedicated to getting results. She was patient and thorough in her explanations of options (including her thoughts on what I didn't need!). I've since moved to Seattle but I still see her whenever I am in town. I now also consult Dr. Makow for sunscreen, moisturizor, and skin care products. I encourage friends and family to see her even for small issues that they think they just have to live with. Although I think the cost for these treatments is generally steep, Renew offers an extremely competitive price - well worth it! Pros: Great prices for top-quality services. I have been to a few dermatologists and this center is, by far, the best. The doctor uses the most current laser hair removal technique and it didn't hurt at all. I had a much better result and it only took three sessions to get rid of the hair I wanted to get rid of. She's great and listens to everything that needs to be done. I went to see Dr. Macow several months ago on hair removal.I was amazed at the different types of treatment of skin care that Dr.Macow specializes in. I have always had bad skin growing up and as an adult I resulted in alot of scaring. I did 3 treatment of skin care for my scaring and was amazed at the results. Dr. Macow has been absolutely great and made me feel very comfortable in my own skin again. If you only knew how having scares on your face can make you feel. i noticed a difference with the first treatment, so after the third it was amazing. I went to see Dr. Makow at Renew Laser several months ago for my adult acne. We discussed a couple of different options and decided on the Blue-u treatment. I was a little hesitant since I knew there would be some ""down time"" involved. I had to stay inside for 48 hours - and then be really careful to avoid the sun as much as possible after that - All in all it took about 7 days to completely heal. The results were incredible! I mean really, I have spent thousands on facials, glycolics & products and nothing cleared up my skin so well. Not only that, it's also a rejuvenating treatment and so the fine lines and small age spots are gone too! I am so happy with my clear skin. I will continue to see Dr. Makow for all my skin treatment needs. Pros: Easy location to get to , free parking, great people! Cons: I can't think of any. more

I visited Renew Laser Clinic at the suggestion of a friend. The staff was very nice and the office was beautiful. I saw Dr. Makow for Botox. Unlike other doctors I had seen who wisked me in and out in 5 minutes, she took the time to really look at my face, talk to me about my needs and recommend a treatment that was a match for my lifestyle and BUDGET. I couldn't believe a doctor was actually telling me ""You know, you don't really need that right now, come back for your eyes in a couple years!"" I think that is the difference when you're working with a trained physician versues a regular aesthetician (sp?). You get a real doctor wanting to help you instead of selling you something. Pros: Professional. Easy to talk to. Excellent results. Cons: Call in advance. more
