Run!
I came here for PDO threads in May, and was left with scars on my face, and they won't even call me back!
I will start from the beginning...I was thinking about getting PDO threads because my 40th birthday was coming up and I was feeling a little self-conscious. Well, joke was on me because now I have scars on my face to remind me of that vanity.
On the recommendation of a friend, I came here instead of going to my preferred aesthetician and boy do I regret it. She put the threads in too shallow, so it looked like I had a growth or a worm under my skin for weeks. Whenever I called to ask about it, I was told some people take longer for the swelling to subside, and it would go down. Spoiler alert, it didn't.
Eventually I made a big enough fuss (because it had started to get quite painful, and I spoke to multiple nurses who were very concerned), that I got an appointment to go back in for a consultation. After 5 weeks, during which I didn't even want to go out in public because I looked like I had been beaten or maimed, they told me the threads were too shallow and they needed to be removed, one of them had actually broken under my skin, which was what caused the pain. They also told me at this point that the aesthetician who put them in had been fired for poor work.
Well, they acted like they had never seen such a case before and "called in a specialist" who came in to remove them a few days later. I made it abundantly clear that I was very concerned about scarring, I mean it is my face, and they assured me they would do as many treatments as needed after the threads were removed and the scabs healed to get rid of the scars...I should have gotten that it in writing, more than just in a text message from the owner.
Once the threads were out, they stopped getting back to me. At first it was just "we will call you back" now it's radio silence! I am still left with two huge pockmarks on my face, and I spent 6 weeks of my summer too uncomfortable to go out in public...
Do they care? Not one bit!
