This store is by far, one of the best kept secrets in Louisiana. My Mother and I have been very loyal clients of this establishment from the time it opened. We have always been greeted and helped beyond expectations. We have felt like one of the ""family"" for a very long time. Along with the incredibly unique pieces, the owners will go above and beyond to work with you. They truly appreciate your business. They take the time to get to know you, so they can make the best recommendations. We have found them to be extremely honest, and point out any major flaws in a piece. I love this practice, because no one likes costly surprises on the back side. Enough cannot be said about the expertise and knowledge they have regarding their inventory. They have such a vast range of styles and price points, that certainly there is a special piece for everyone. Just to walk through Renaissance, feels like stepping back into time. My entire house flodded during Hurricane Katrina. I lost everything! I have shopped for furniture & antiques my entire life. Over the course of several weeks, I was able to refurnish most of my house with pieces from this shop. Great antiques, gently used high quality newer furniture, art, lamps, rugs, they had it all and great new things kept coming in every week. The service was great and the people that run the place could not be nicer. I have shopped at many consignment shops around the country and I can say that this is clearly one of the very best. Renaissance Interiors charged $5000.00 on my credit card. They obviously did not check I.D. to match with credit card. I called them and they said that I could pick up the furniture from where they delivered it and they would try to resale it and give me the money they made from it to me. I could not believe this. What store charges $5000.00 and DOES NOt Check Identification. INSANE!!!! On top of that they told me to pick up the furniture and they would resale it for me. more
