All reviews as you can see mentions remarkable movers and their phone numbers. It is a scam. Fake reviews. I hered them they were totaly a nightmare. Expensive and unprofessional

A friend of mine suggested I try Remarkable Movers for my local NJ move this past weekend. Fabulous advice!! I called them about 2 weeks before my move date and was pleasantly surprised that they had one of my preferred dates available. I set up everything with Erika via phone. She was really friendly, professional and responsive. On the day of the move, David (the owner) called about 20 minutes before their arrival to give me a heads up (they were actually slightly ahead of schedule, which was nice). He arrived with a crew of 2 others, and after meticulously going over the contract with me, they got to work. I had them do my packing for me as well as the moving. They were professional, fast, and super nice and polite. I totally trusted them. Their flat moving price was exceedingly reasonable. I'll will definitely use Remarkable Movers = 718-627-9292 for my next move. more

I saved a bunch with my last move when I called Remarkable Movers at 718-627-9292 . The other estimates I got were super high and estimated a really a lot of hours. But these guys were fast and I saved a lot of stress. Elizabeth was great at handling all my questions and gave me an estimate right when I called. I used this moving company a few times in the past, and they always came thru for me in a big way. They always truly listen to my needs, and then come up with the best moving solutions. The guys that actually show up on the moving truck on the day of the move are always great. They are enthusiastic and always are professional and nice to deal with. I will always use them for any move I will ever have, and I will recommend them to anyone that needs a moving company.? more

We highly recommend this Moving Company ( Remarkable Movers - Affordable - Reliable Moving in NYC) to anyone. The great service began when we asked for someone to come down and give us a free quote. Talk about efficiency - same day Mike from Remarkable Movers (who is nice, helpful and professional) came, gave us a very reasonable and firmed quote on the spot. By 'very reasonable' I mean their price beat others movers by a big margin, Even that they reduced their first quotes by about 20%!! So you would think we would get a raw deal at this price? Not at all. Both of us considered Remarkable Movers -brooklyn Movers as the best mover we had so far. Personally, I think big moving companies may charge more because they have an established brand and size, but also because of their size, in my view they are also less likely to provide the kind of personal service and quality control that smaller companies like Remarkable Movers can offer. It definitely showed in our move that Remarkable Movers - Affordable - Reliable Moving in NYC proved that they have these special qualities. It was a tough move. We needed to move from two locations (one ground floor and one fifth floor walk-up) to a fourth-floor walk-up. Apart from the usual household stuff, we also had to move a professional sound-proof room which literally weighs a ton. Four guys (including Mike who was the team leader that day) and one large truck turned up on time that freezing morning. Despite the stairs and the weight, they moved at lightning speed, handle everything with care and did it with a smile. We found all of them friendly, nice and professional to deal with all the way till the end. Totally trouble-free!! Nothing broken, nothing missing. The price is excellent. No nasty surprises. What more can you ask for? We will definitely use them again. more

I will be using the same guys to move me out next June 8/16/2010

As a college student living in New York and going to school in Washington, I've had to move in and move out every year. Using NYC Remarkable Movers - Affordable - Reliable Moving in NY was the best idea ever. The guys were nice, efficient, and thorough. The price is the lowest (I check all the time). What else could you ask from movers?! I just showed them where all the furniture and boxes were that needed to be moved and 30 minutes later it was all in the truck. I got in my car and when I got to Washington they were only 25 minutes behind me. They brought everything up quickly and asked me exactly where I wanted things. If I changed my mind and wanted the furniture switched they had no problem accommodating and just went to work. I will be using the same guys to move me out next June and each time I need to move anywhere! more

Exceptional Movers I have moved several times in the past and I have never had such a wonderful experience moving. NYC Remarkable Movers in New York City were exceptional! They rolled out the red carpet, didn't break any of my things, the guys were very respectful and professional, All my furniture was shrinked wrapped and padded, they worked continuously until the job was complete. They stored items for me that didn't fit in my new apartment. They followed up with me to make sure that all my things were in good order. I recommend them to anyone. And best of all they didn't crack me over the head with ridiculous prices! I will use them again! Extraordinary!!! more

Moving is a very stressful event but your movers who did our job this past Friday made it easy, painless and exceptionally quick. They were a pleasure to work with. They were polite and very friendly. They worked swiftly and efficiently and were able to move us from door to door in a mere four hours. We had packed most of our items before they arrived but in cases where we had some leftover objects they provided us with boxes and packed whatever remained. We were especially grateful that they had wardrobe boxes for all our hanging items as we had not been able to find boxes of our own to use before the move. Not a single item was broken, scratched or even dented in the move. We found out about New York Best Movers from a friend of ours and we will be more than happy to pass on the word as to what a great experience we had working with your company and how we would recommend you to anyone looking to move in NYC more

There wasn’t one minute wasted by these two individuals. 7/8/2010

I want to comment on what an outstanding job the two men did that moves us. We have had many movers over the years. Much of those experiences weren’t positive. I have had furniture damaged, lazy workers, etc. Our experience s have been so bad that my daughter did not want to hire movers but preferred to do it ourselves. However, I just wasn’t up to the lifting, hauling, etc. The two men that did our move were outstanding. They were very efficient, fast, conscientious, polite and helpful. Never have I received such service with a moving company. There wasn’t one minute wasted by these two individuals. In addition, they put the furniture where they were directed and did everything possible to accommodate us. If New York Best Movers needs a reference, I would be happy to accommodate. I will recommend your company to co-workers, friends, businesses, etc. Thank you for a positive experience. more
