My wife of 26 years decided that the kids were grown and wanted out. I got the divorce papers not knowing she wanted a divorce. This left the splitting of assets. She came in with her movers who trashed our home. They ripped my screen door off, scratched my hard wood floor in the dining room and banged the dresser down three walls in the hallway. They loaded a big truck and brought it to my new apartment on the second floor. I was boxed in the tiny apartment but it was a job well done. All the furniture put where I wanted, unwrapped, and set back up. No damages. I offered the guys a beer to which they opted for soda.
Jennifer came in right after and helped unpack boxes. She even helped arrange the kitchen putting the dishes and cookware away with smart choices.
