When you’re struggling, the way forward should make sense. You want to understand what you’re going through and why. You want to see the solution clearly and have confidence it will lead you to relief and success. It will make sense. Emotional health is like physical health. There are challenges life deals out and challenges of our own making, but we can learn how to slow down and sometimes even completely cure physical sickness, and destructive emotional patterns are no different.
It begins with a desire to be free from them. If you want your life to be different from what it is now, then you already believe it can be. If you are ready, you will begin a journey of hope and inspiration. You will begin a journey that, if you are committed, will transform your life slowly and through time but completely. Having said that let me assure you that counseling will not take a lifetime. Only applying the principles you learn will be a life-long endeavor, and it will be worth every moment and every effort you invest. You will experience confrontation and challenges that will be difficult to bear, but they will make you stronger and healthier each time you face them.
