Needed more texture & body now that spring has sprung and caps and hats are back in the closet. Made a first-time appt at Regis for a texture perm with Diana. Impressed immediately with her professionalism and the sheer fact that she was on-time. (I've paid $150 for stylists who repeatedly saunter in late with excuses, making me wait 15, 20 minutes and more.) After completing a new-customer card, she asked what look I wanted, then brought me two style books so we'd be on the same page. Found a cute style. Diana took up the scissors. My cut was quite good and executed quickly. The stylist applied a prep lotion, then rapidly rolled the rods. Great care was taken in the rinsing/neutralizer/rinsing phase to keep solution out of my eyes. This was an excellent texture perm, professionally executed with no discomfort (dripping solution, clumsy rod-handling, no concern for the client's well-being). There was very little chemical smell. Texture and wave perms have come a long way. If you are considering getting one, this is the place to go. I was in at 9 am and out around eleven-ish. Way to go, Regis! Thank you! more

I recently got my long hair cut and styled into a short bob. I was nervous about this cut but I brought a picture of what I wanted to show the stylist. She suggested a style that was like my pic but framed my face better, so we went with that. The stylists there are the nicest people!! They talked to me, did not rush me or made me feel as though they did not want me to be there.\r \r I usually avoid hair salons b/c they're usually full of snobs who ignore you or don't cut your hair correctly, etc. But here, they listened to my questions about styling, they talked to me and made jokes, and took their time. Since my hair was so long and the cut was going to be drastic I was worried whoever I go to might not do a good job. But at Regis, the lady took extra time with me and seemed really competent. She took her time to style my hair after the cut and did a FANTASTIC job! Everyone at work commented on my hair about how great it looks.\r \r I feel like I won the jackpot and I couldn't have asked for a better place to get my hair cut. Afterwards, the lady recommended products for me to use and they've been great and cheap! (It was a buy 1 get one 1/2 off sale). I would highly recommend going here! Pros: GREAT VALUE! Only $25 for shampoo, cut, and style! VERY competent staff, wonderful people, great haircut! Cons: It is in the mall so you get an audience more
