BEST ITALIAN FOOD EXCELLENT SERVICE 4/17/2008

I have never ate at a place so great in my life! The pizza is unbelievable!!! The dishes are portioned very well, definitly enough for you to take home and eat for days!! The salad is awsome with loads of toppings including feta cheese olives tomatoes green peppers, salami anything you can think of. The service is excellent and fast. A great group of people work there, and they are very sincere and care to make sure the customer is ALWAYS happy. The actual building is nice and cozy with old pictures of the family owned business. The kitchen is open which i think is great because you can see everything that is going on. I would definitly reccomend reginos if you want REAL italian food and great service. I wouldnt go anywhere else for italian! Pros: fast service, parking, great food more

Excellent Italian style pizza and pastas,Large portions, Family friendly 1/27/2007

We have been going to Regino's for many years and have never been disappointed. I do miss their old location, but the restaurant is still owned by the original family, and the menu has not changed. To us, they have one of the best pizzas anywhere. I know of no other pizza where the pepperoni is oblong and thick, because it is cut from the stick. Every other pizza place, including those claiming to be New York Style, has the small, thin, wimpy, round, pre-cut pepperoni. The cheese on the pizza is spicy and rich. When you order toppings such as garlic, you get cloves, not some cheap sprinkles as all the others do. Wake up people! This is REAL, authentic pizza as it should be. Not the bland, watered down junk that many have had all of their lives. You have to be prepared for some real Italian spices here. The pasta dishes are outstanding. Once again, be prepared for a good dose of garlic and a host of other Italian spices. I prefer the angel hair with one of the many varieties of sauces offered, such as anchovy. If you order clam sauce, you get real clams in the shell. Vodka sauce is excellent, too. Try the Spaghetti a la Regino's. It is a mountain of spaghetti with real Italian sausage, green peppers, and melted mozarella over the top. The portions are very generous. The sauces are alive with spices. The salads are enormous, and loaded with pepperoncini, feta cheese, black olives, and fresh greens. You will not believe how good the minestrone soup is. Ask for Rowena, and you will be treated to excellent service. Prepare yourself for REAL Italian food and head to Regino's. Pros: Real Italian food. Giant portions. Friendly service. Family owned since 1947. Cons: May be too intense for those used to dull, bland food passed off as Italian. more

Try the pizza, nothing else 11/20/2006

This has really gonedown hill since they moved to this location from Wards Corner. I guess the pizza is good, but there are others just as good, and I wouldn't stick around for anything else. I head the veal parmesan, and the veal was like leather, while sauce was--like pizza sauce. more
