This small theater, which often only shows two movies per week, has a great selection of art, classic, and independent features. It will be a quiet evening, with fewer crying babies and giggling teenagers. Be sure to grab some food before heading inside, the selection is limited. more

great classic theater run by filmmakers 8/21/2005

The Regent Square Theater on braddock is a nice big theater affiliated with Pittsburgh Filmmakers. As such it takes part in the Three`Rivers Film Festival, screening dozens of movies over 2-3 weeks. Outside of the 3RFF, the Regent Square theater screens a nice selection of art house, independent, and foreign films. Additionally on Sundays they tend to screen classic films. Grab some beer & hot dogs at D's before the movie and you've got some very good stuff. more
